"Oh I can't believe my little baby is going off to college", my mom gushed as I loaded the last of my things into my trunk.
"Mom it's not a big deal", I replied. "Just college".
"Just college? Come on Ava if I didn't have Mia right now I would be in Florida partying and hook-
Hazel gave Caleb the evil eye and he stopped talking.
"Have lots and lots of fun okay?", Hazel said giving me a hug.
After dad and mom it was Shawn's turn. He showed up to drive my car back from the airport. We got in my car and drove to the airport. It was like a flashback to rehab. I knew I would miss my family like crazy. Through everything I learned that my family was my number one support system.
"Well my planes going to be boarding here soon", I told Shawn.
He nodded.
"Shawn", I sighed.
"Ava I'm sorry okay? I'm sorry that I couldn't give you what you deserved and that I loved you but ended things. I can't believe I did this again. Now you're leaving and there's nothing I can do to change things-
I cut him off by placing a small kiss on his lips.
"I love you Ava", he whispered.
I smiled and grabbed his hand.
"I lov-
"Flight 667 now boarding", the intercom announced.
I smiled and that was that.
