"Babe are you done yet?", I asked Hazel.

We have a doctors appointment to find out the gender of the baby and I'm excited. Honestly Hazel and I have been through a lot but I think she's matured and I have too so we can do this.

"Calm yourself babe. I'm ready", she said walking out of the bathroom.

She was absolutely beautiful. The way her hair was curled and the way her green eyes sparkled made her all the more perfect.

"You look gorgeous", I smiled.

She blushed and we walked out to my car. I held her hand as I drove and I felt my life fall into place. Soon I would have a little baby and a little family. Something I could care for all on my own.

"Ready babe?", I asked.

I could tell she was nervous. She was nervous to see how the baby is especially after what happened to Ava. Speaking of Ava, she isn't herself anymore. She sits in her room and Shawn is noticing it too. I think she feels that it's her fault for losing Violet.

"Everything's going to be okay", I promised Hazel.

Hazel leaned over, gave me a kiss and got out of the car. We checked in and a few minutes later were instructed to go in an exam room.

"Okay guys. Right here!! There's your baby", the nurse smiled.

"It's beautiful", Hazel whispered.

"Like you princess", I said pecking her forehead.

"Would you like to know the gender?".

Hazel and I nodded and the doctor continued to move the wand around her belly.

"It's a......GIRL!!!!", she said.

Hazel let a tear slip from her eye and a huge smile broke out on her face. She would be daddy's little princess for sure.
"I can't believe we are having a girl", Hazel said as we sat in McDonald's.

"I know it's crazy. Let's think of a name", I said biting into my burger.

"Hmmm....I've always liked the name Mia", she replied.

"I love it. Middle name?". "Taylor?".

"Babeeee that's awesome!! I love it!!!", she squealed.

I watched her smile and scroll through her phone and I fell more in love with her. I had to make her mine forever. I have a big plan. I walked outside and dialed my dads number.

"Dad...I think I'm going to ask Hazel to marry me", I said.
"No you're not", he chuckled.
"Dad yes I am! I love her and I want to make our family whole".
"Son you're 18 years old. It's not something to rush into".
"I know but I really love her!!".
"Look, I know how you feel and I mean if that's really what you think you should do then do it", he said. "I'll support you".
End of call
I smiled and began thinking of a plan.

"Let's go babe. I'm tired and my feet hurt", Hazel said walking out of the restaurant.

Hazel wanted to go see her parents so I dropped her off and told her to call me if she needed a ride back to my house.
"So you're really going to propose huh?", my dad said.

I nodded.

"Look Caleb, we will support you in anything you do but you need to be a hundred percent sure about this", my mom said.

"Guys I'm sure".

"Well alright then", they said.
