Family ever after

I heard Melinda's soft snores as she layed on my chest. I knew I shouldn't have done this. Especially while Ava is in this condition. I felt nothing for Melinda I just needed to get my mind off things for a bit and this is the only way I knew how. I would've preferred this evening to be with Ava. Melinda's eyes fluttered open and a small smirk tugged her lips.

"That was amazing baby", she purred.

I didn't respond. Melinda's red lips attached to mine but it felt nothing like Ava's kiss. I craved Ava's lips right now. Melinda started trailing sloppy kisses down my neck and I wished it would stop. Thankfully the phone rang but Melinda jumped up and answered it. I threw my head back in frustration and got up. I slipped a hoodie and sweats on. Mel crawled back in bed and tried to get me back in.

"Maybe you should go", I said scratching the back of my neck.

"But shawnnny!", she whined.

"Sorry but I have to uh be at the studio at six", I shrugged.

Melinda slipped her excuse for a dress back on and pecked my lips once before leaving. I needed Ava and I needed her now. I grabbed my keys and drove off to the rehab center. I knew how to sneak in because I've done it before. Ava would call if she had a bad dream sometimes. When I got there I knocked on the window and Ava opened.

"Shawn please g-

Before she could finish I locked my lips on hers making sure each movement was precise.

"Sh-

"Don't speak Ava! I love you so much", I whispered as we moved over to her bed.

I pulled her on my lap and never broke the kiss. {Gets intense. If you aren't comfortable reading then scroll along}
I tugged the hem of her thin night shirt and pulled it up. She covered herself but I moved her hands away and admired her body.

"Gosh you're so beautiful Avalon", I whispered as I trailed my finger across her skin making her shiver.

She closed the gap between us and lifted my shirt.

"Are you positive you want to do this?", I asked.

She nodded and removed my sweats. Soon our body's were moving in perfect sync with each other's. We layed together tangled in each other's embrace. Tonight was special but I had that little reminder of what I had just done with Melinda hours previous. I couldn't ruin this night.

I rested my head on Shawn's muscular chest and replayed our special night together over and over again. I also couldn't help but think how stupid I was considering he had just been with Melinda.

"Shawn?", I whispered.

It was no use he had fallen asleep. I just want to remember this night since it might be our last. I closed my eyes and cuddled closer to Shawn.

"I love you too", I said pecking his chest.
