My jaw dropped as well as the
t.v. remote I had in my hand
That was her
My mind flashed back to girl they had wheeled away only moments ago
Fay...
"Why the Fuck was she out so late?"
Tears started to make their way down my face I couldn't hold them back any longer
I ripped the I.V. chords out if my arm I winced at the pain I unplugged the heart monitor and tore off the disgustingly sticky patches off my chest
I got up and let my feet touch the icy cold hospital floor
I had the intentions of running out if my room door but that didn't work seeing how weak I actually was I took two seemingly large steps then collapsed onto my hands and knees
Nurses and doctors flooded in my room they fought with me for over 15 minutes trying to get me back in my bed but I refused
"FAY!"
I yelled her name in despair and anger
How could she just leave me like that?..
It's your fault you left her remember?
I hated the voice in the back of my head because part of me knew it was right
The nurses finally got me to sit in the bed but I wasn't responsive in anyway when they asked me questions
After checking my vitals again they hooked the I.V back up made sure I was okay then left again
I laid down and rolled to my side looking out the window to see the stars I hugged my knees to my chest and cried
"It..it was just a dream it was just a Fucking dream"
