Their anniversary was coming and Greyson was getting busy with his come back. He had to travel to LA more often to get everything done; interviews, photoshoots and all the other related things and to fly to LA means to leave Melissa alone in OK.

"Do you really have to go again?" Melissa asked, pouting as she sat on the edge of the bed watching her husband putting all his clothes and stuff in the luggage. His flight was the day after tomorrow.

Greyson zipped up the luggage and put it aside, approached his wife and settled down next to her on the bed.

"Yes, honey. I wish I could bring you along but-"

"You can! You can take me with you." Melissa suggested.

"No, Mel. LA is different from what you think. I'm afraid I would get busy and tired and don't have time for you. It's better if you stay here. There are mom and dad who you can refer to if anything happens."

"I understand if you get busy. I don't care if you don't have time for me as long as I could see you in front of me, that's enough. Please, Greyson. Take me with you." Said Melissa holding Greyson's arm. She made a puppy face and hoped that Greyson would fall for it. Unfortunately he didn't.

"No, Mel. I'm sorry. You will stay here or maybe you can stay in Edmond with mom and dad so that you won't be alone. Or do you want to go back to your hometown?"

Melissa harshly pushed Greyson's arm and got up. "I hate you!" With that she stomped her feet to the door and slammed it shut.

Greyson was stunned by her sudden act for a while before he got up to go after her. "Mel! Wait!" He looked for her everywhere and when he heard the sound of door slamming he knew where she was. The guest room.

Greyson tried to open the door but of course it was locked. He knocked on it, calling for Melissa. "Open this door, Mel. Let me in."

"No! Just go! You want to leave me, right? Go away, Greyson."

"Okay bye-wait! Listen to me. Don't be like this Mel." No answer. "Melissa."

Greyson remembered that he kept the spare keys somewhere in the cabinet drawer but he thought maybe it wasn't the best time to confront her. It was better if they talked to each other like that.

Greyson leaned on the door and slid down to the floor. He heard sobbing sound from the other side. It had been a long time since he last listened to her cries and it was worse this time that she was crying because of him.

"Mel. Don't cry please. I'm sorry. It's not like I don't want to bring you with me. If I could I would not want to leave you here but...but-"

"But you still are gonna leave me anyway." Melissa said from the other side. She was leaning on the door as well.

Greyson closed his eyes tight. He lost words and he didn't know how to console her anymore. She was quick to get emotional these days, even over little things and Greyson just had to bear with her.

"Okay, you can come with me." Greyson heard some rustling noise from inside the room before he continued. "But-"

Melissa opened the door Greyson was leaning on and it caused him to fall backward.

"Really?" Melissa asked looking down at Greyson who was on the floor.

"Really? You don't want to help me first?"

"Ops, sorry." Melissa giggled and helped Greyson to get on his feet. When Greyson was standing in front of her she asked again. "You are going to take me with you?"
