Melissa was nervous about her pregnancy even though she never missed any checkup and the doctor said that both she and her baby were fine. She knew she was just overthinking like Greyson always said but she couldn't help it.

Greyson was in the bedroom while Melissa was in the bathroom, staring at her reflection in the mirror. She was only wearing a satin bathrobe with her nightgown underneath. As she examined her growing tummy, she noticed that at seven months, it was not as bigger as her tummy during previous pregnancy. Then she looked at her hair, and face.

"Why do I look like this?" She said while frowning.

Greyson entered the bathroom that wasn't locked only to see Melissa looking at her reflection with a sad face.

   "What took you so long?"

Melissa turned to look at Greyson and grasped his arms. "Greyson, do I look ugly? Why does my face look paler? Why does my hair feel dry?"

Greyson eyed Melissa from head to toe and yes, her face was paler than its usual tone, her hair looked dull but to Greyson's eyes those things didn't matter. He held her shoulders and spoke, "No, you don't look ugly. You're beautiful."

"No, I'm not. Just tell me the truth!"

Greyson bit his lower lip, thinking of what to say so that his wife wouldn't be sad and get mad.

"Probably the baby is taking your beauty." Greyson smiled.

   "Is that even possible?"

"Who knows? It can be true." Greyson wrapped his arm around Melissa's waist. "It doesn't matter if your skin looks pale, or you have dull hair, to me you're the most beautiful lady in this universe."

"So, my skin does look paler than usual and my hair looks dull."

Greyson mentally facepalmed. He swore he didn't mean it like that.

"No, Mel, look. Ahh, how do I say this..." He muttered under his breath. Then he took Melissa's hands in his. "Look me in the eyes." Melissa slowly looked up to Greyson.

"I love you. I love you no matter how you look and you have to know that. You become like this because of the pregnancy. You look like what you are  now because of this little one" Greyson said while placing both their hands on her tummy. "...inside here. So, you shouldn't feel bad about yourself. Okay? I don't want to hear any more about that."

Melissa still pouted. "I want a hug."

"Awhh, c'mere." Greyson said opening his arms. Melissa stepped closer to him to wrap her arms around his body. They couldn't really hug properly because the bump was there.

"It feels like a family hug. Me, you and our baby."

"Yeah. So good and calming." Melissa said with her eyes closed.

Long story short, the pregnancy had entered eight months and Melissa felt so nervous that every night she couldn't even close her eyes to sleep plus it was difficult and uncomfortable for her to sleep since her tummy was as big as a watermelon. Probably bigger than that.

Melissa shifted uncomfortably in the bed, to the left, right, left and right until she decided to slowly sit up, leaning against the headboard. She glanced at sleeping Greyson. He sure was tired of staying up late at night doing his thing. Only that night he got in bed earlier than usual.

Melissa got up from the bed very carefully not to stir Greyson from his sleep and also tried to balance herself. She walked slowly to the crib that was placed in one corner in their room. It was cute and every time Melissa saw it she would smile. They purposely bought the crib in a white color since they wanted the baby's sex to be a surprise.
