"I died."
Every single day is the same routine. Wake up, please him, and take on customers. I wonder if I would ever get out of this hellhole.
I want to be free. I want to live but I guess life doesn't work the way you want it. I'm just a nameless child after all. My mother abandoned me at the orphanage. Some said she's just a whore who didn't even want me. I never knew her and I don't think I want to.
"Wake up, bastard" His voice echoes in my ears.
I blink my eyes open until I could see properly. He's standing in front of the door grinning. It's never a good thing when he's happy. I stare at him for a moment then his eyes skim me over and a disgusted look appear on his face.
"Go clean yourself up. You got more customer coming,"
I watch him walk out the door. He's not really that old or anything but his hair already starting to show his age. A few strands of white are visibly. He is my 'caretaker' ever since I ran from the abusive orphanage.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire. My life didn't get better after meeting him because ever since then, I'm forced to please him and a bunch of customers. He said I have to do it to show my gratitude because he saved me from dying.
I shake away those thoughts and try to move my body. My lower half ache and I realise I must have fallen asleep after the last customer.
I turn my head to look out the window and it's dark. I don't even know how long was I out cold. I sigh at the thought of having to please another customer but still, I force myself out of the bed.
The bathroom still dirty as ever but had the essentials to keep my body clean. The shower turns on and the cold water came trickling down my body. My body shiver at the immediate cold sensation for a moment but then it got used to the feeling.
Thinking back to the day that got me in this position, I guess I was stupid. I was only 12 back then. Never really had any proper education.
After being beaten up, one of the older boys finally stood up to them. He ends up getting beat up and I think he was dying. I saw blood flowing down of him and his body limp on the floor. I don't know if he is still alive but I saw freedom.
During the commotion, my body just ran out the door and I ran so far I don't even know where I was anymore. I knew I was in a park somewhere but there isn't any park nearby the orphanage.
Relief came over me when I realise that I am far far away from them. I guess I shouldn't have rejoice early.
"Boy, what are you doing here late at night,"
I shiver at the remembrance of when he first spoke to me. He sounded so nice that I fell right into his trap.
He gave me some food and listened to my story. At first, I was wary of him but then I got distracted by all the food that he bought for me. He listened to my story and spoke of all the soothing words to soothe me. It was all bullshìt though.
He offered me his home to me so I can rest there. I agreed after he insisted and he did look nice at that time. Of course, that was all a mask. I chuckle remembering my naivety.
He didn't do anything to me for the first few days. It was just out of the blue when he came home from work one night and took me from behind. I even bleed out since it was my first time.
When I try to fight back, he yelled at me saying how ungrateful I am and gave a few blow on my body. He said that he saved me back then because if we didn't meet and if he didn't take me in, I would probably have died of starvation.
