"Learning Experience"

"Where are you going, Master Luke?" Sebastian, the head of the servants appears out of nowhere. I jump slightly out of shock. I turn around and give him a sheepish smile.

"I'm going to visit the orphanage nearby," I reply awkwardly at the elderly man.

"Understood, sir. Do you need me to call the driver to drive you there?" He asks politely.

"Uhm, no. No, thank you. I'll walk there since it's nearby," He nods his head and leaves without making a sound. I swear, these servants are actually ninjas with the way they work without making any sound.

I walk out the door and Do-Hyun greets me with a smile. I smile back at him and he nods lightly as if to show his respect to me.

I start walking towards the huge gate and Do-Hyun is silently following me.

The thing I like about Do-Hyun is that we don't make any unnecessary conversations. He is a silent man and I for one, isn't really much of a talker.

When I reach the front gate, there isn't a need to say anything because they have already opened the small gate for me to go through. I walk out of it while giving people a smile and a nod. Some return my smile while others kept a straight face.

HONK

The sound scares me and I jump for the second time today. I wonder if these people are trying to give me a heart attack or something.

I search for the source of the sound and notice a flashy red vehicle that I have come to be very well acquainted with. I let out a breath and sluggishly walk towards the open window on the passenger's seat.

I put my elbow on the window sill and pop my head in the car a little.

Ryan is wearing a shade and has a smirk as he turns to look at me. He pulls down his sunglasses until the end of his pointy nose. It reveals his deep blue eyes.

"Want a lift?" He asks casually.

I give it a thought for a moment but decide that it's best to decline. He seems better today so he doesn't need me anymore. Plus, something tells me not to fall for his act today.

"No. No, thank you," I say as I move back to stand properly.

"Hey, come on. I insist," Ryan pushes the passenger seat door open after leaning from the driver's seat.

I look at him with disbelieve but he gives me a playful smile while gesturing me to come in using his head.

I turn to look at Do-Hyun and he seems to be scanning the perimeters to ensure its safe. I sigh quietly and enter the car, knowing that Do-Hyun would follow us.

Ryan forms a cocky triumphant smile as he looks ahead which makes me roll my eyes and look out the window.

"Where to?" He asks and I could hear the smug in his voice.

"The orphanage nearby," I reply without turning my face.

He hums happily and starts to drive away.

I thought back to our conversation on the phone...

"Hello?"

Silence.

"Who is this? If you aren't answering, I'll hang up," I say sternly.

"It's me, Ryan,"

"Oh. Is everything ok?" I ask in concern.

"Yeah, I was going to ask the same question to you,"
