"Back To School"

"Are you ready?" Abby, the girl from the hospital ask with a hint of excitement. Yeah, I found out her name the other day when she said she wants to restart our relationship. What better way to restart when I have 'amnesia'.

Little did she know that it's not a restart but rather a new start. I just hope that she doesn't notice that I am different from him. From her stories, it sounded like he's a sweet boy and all but changed after something happened. She never told me what it is. She just gave me a sad look and told me that she hopes I will never remember.

Doubt I will but who knows when he will be back to claim his body. Sometimes I wonder if he really is gone and what happened to him. I shook the thoughts away and came back to reality. Shit. I've been doing this spacing out a lot. I need to be careful.

Abby purse her lips and gave a smile of sort. She probably saw me shaking my head and thought that I'm answering her.

"I guess you're nervous. You haven't gone to school in a while..." She trails off for a moment before her face lit up again.

"But you you've always been smarter than me so I think you can catch up easily,"

Crap. I didn't think this one through. I actually spent my resting days cleaning up my room. Abby was ecstatic when she heard I'm trying to redecorate my room so she offered to help. She is a great help but she asked so many questions that it hurts my head. The worst part is, that it's all about the redecorating. She ask me from the colour scheme down to the position of my furniture. I didn't even know it mattered. Well, I didn't have the luxury to find out.

She said she was so tired of the 'emo phase' and wanted to redecorate the room for ages. I wonder what 'emo phase' means.

During the clean-up, I found several things I know a kid shouldn't have. Mama always make sure I understand that and to always refuse when offered. There's a bunch of those hidden in the storage seat (which I didn't know existed until Abby showed me) at the end of his bed. It was hidden under another layer of a wood cover. From the white powder, pills and... Let's just say this boy got one heck of a great dealer.

Luckily, when I found that stuff, Abby wasn't around. She already went home cause it was night time. I couldn't sleep cause sleeping is all I did back at the hospital. I decided to understand him more by playing scavenger hunt. The only reason I noticed the cover is cause I did the same back in my old life. I hid some money I knew he wouldn't notice missing, hoping to run away. Oh, the plan didn't succeed cause that àsshóle found out. As for those stuff that I found, I flushed it all away.

No wonder he has several small scar here and there. He's also too skinny. Maybe I'll get this body to work out and gain a few kilo.

Also, the room looks better now that we've redecorate. It even look spacious almost to the size of my old living room and might be bigger. I feel awkward with so much space in the room that I requested to put a bookshelf in but it's still so big. Seriously, I wonder who these people are...

Obviously, the redecorating took a whole lot of energy so I spent a lot of time resting and I didn't even glance the books he owns. I knew I would be going to school cause mother... My mother... (This is still something awkward to say) told me this when she saw Abby and I are redecorating my room.

She even cried that time cause I was trying to redecorate the room. I didn't even know it's such a big deal. She did sound worried when she ask me if I wanted to go to school. Honestly, I had to hold myself back from showing my excitement because I can finally go to school! Something I have been dreaming about as a child. Then, she cried even more when I said yes.
