"Information Overload"

Well, let's just say the day ended with a bust.

Apparently, Abby wanted me to meet Samuel and Eric. However, she couldn't stop crying so Ean took her away to comfort her. I was left there feeling stumped. I felt bad cause I couldn't calm her down. My brain shut down because there were too many things I needed to absorb.

Especially the part where Abby almost slipped saying 'ov-'. Could it mean overdose? Then wouldn't it mean this body is addicted to whatever it was that I found last time. Mama told me about withdrawal symptoms if they want to get clean and it sounded really horrible. I hope this body won't be experiencing that. This body was asleep for a few months after all. It should have gone through the cleansing process.

I don't think I have the urge to use those things so I should be fine, I think. Plus, I don't care what kind of fvked up things he did but since the damage is going to affect me, I might need to do some clean-up.

Also... Speaking of Mama, maybe I should go and see him. I kinda miss him. I keep talking about him and his advices are engraved in me. It's probably my subconscious but Mama was there, guiding me even if it was a short fleeting moment. I want to know if he is the one who's given me this second chance's or...

It's really just my subconscious choosing Mama cause he's the closest to me. But nobody ends up inside another's body for no reason!

Well, other than that, I do miss him because he was there for me when I had no one. It feels weird surrounded by people who don't see me as I am. They see him. I want to know if there will be someone to remember the nameless orphan boy.

Samuel, one of the guy Abby wanted me to meet introduced himself or probably reintroducing himself since he might have known Samuel. He offers me a ride home since I was abandoned by Abby.

We talk for a little bit and he's really a nice guy but nice people aren't to be trusted. I learnt that from experience.

Even so, it seems that it has been decided that he will be teaching me.

I try to refuse but he said that he already told Abby he'd do it. I couldn't reject him anymore so I just nodded along. Apparently, he even has a schedule ready so he handed me a printed paper with the schedule.

My eyes go wide for a moment looking at the schedule because I just realise how dedicated he is to teaching me. He said he'd be teaching me languages and humanities because he's good at that.

He gives me homework where I need to listen to several audio in different languages that I am taking which are French, Chinese and English.

I gave him a look when he said "English" but he said to learn someone's language, we must first understand our own language. He told me that I should have some audios necessary to learn the languages in my home library. I guess I have to do another scavenger hunt before I start learning something.

The very next day, something unexpected caught me off guard. After school, Abby brought home a guest to my house (wow, I'm getting used to calling his as mine).

And I really did not expect this.

"I hope we can get along just fine," Doctor Caleb, while flashing his white teeth at me.

I look at his hand that he held out for me, then I look at his face and turn to look at Abby.

Abby starts to laugh and I bet it's because of the look of confusion I have on my face at the moment.

Doctor Caleb takes note of my confusion so he explains that his first name is Eric. He says that Abby would've told me that if she could stop laughing for a moment. Abby continues laughing as I narrow my eyes at her.
