"Do-Hyun's POV"

I went back home to Korea because my paternal grandmother passed away.

That was the first time I met my father's side of the family. It seems that he was disowned by his own family but to show filial piety to his family, he decided that all of us should go back. It was horrible.

We were told to leave. Father insisted to stay. In the end, the trip was prolonged. My parents decided to stay in Korea and I helped them settle down.

When I came back to start working again, I found out that young master got kidnapped. I was surprised that such thing a happened and I felt bad.

Then I found out that he wouldn't be staying at home anymore. He'll be staying with Lancaster's young master.

When I was about to be reinstated to guard Young Master Luke, an issue arose. It seems that Lancaster's young master disapproves of me being by his side. I was put aside into guarding the house temporarily since he would not allow me to be anywhere near young master.

The time that was given to me to guard the house has given me some time to think back to the first time I was assigned to the McKenzie. I have good reputation in the company and am among the top bodyguards listed. I was actually looking forward to work with them.

However, when the others heard that I was to be assigned to Young Master Luke, they all gave me a sympathetic look. I am not one to listen to gossip so I couldn't understand the reason behind their reaction.

Joey, a trainer and close friend of mine heard of the news. We went out for a drink and that's when I was told about young master's attitude. It was said that he is hot-headed, rude, crazy, and even gay. I don't think the last part is a problem. I mean, everyone has the right to live their own life the way they want to. Of course, I'm not the type to believe in such rumours. Seeing is believing. That is one of my way of life.

When Joey heard me saying that I don't believe it, he only said 'Good Luck' and left me.

Soon after, I reported myself to the McKenzie's. It seemed that Young Master Luke was in the hospital and I was not needed at the moment. Thus, I was placed as the houseguest. It was weird. They could have assigned me elsewhere but they insisted that I must be in my best form before I serve to protect the young master.

I am by nature, a friendly person. I made friends with the employees in the house. At times, I even helped out around the house because I feel awkward as a 'guest'. Nobody stopped me from helping and that eased me a little.

I did ask around about young master and it seems that what Joey had told me only repeated itself. They all say the same thing.

Young Master Luke is an impulsive person. He would scold them for no reason or for the smallest mistakes, they make. It seems no one likes him at all. He does not have a good reputation at all among the employees. All the female employees are afraid of him. It seems there was one time he injured one of them by tossing a vase at them.

It sounds horrible and it makes me waver. Do I really want to serve that kind of a person?

Then, there is the head butler. His name is Sebastian. It makes me think that it such a cliché name for a butler. Sebastian is almost 70 years old but refuses to retire. He told me that he couldn't leave the house to his son or grandson. He said he has served the McKenzie's since he was a young boy.

He was the playmate for Young Master Luke's grandfather. It seems that the two of them were very close. Young Master Luke's grandfather is a kind and generous man. He could be ruthless for work but his family is his soft spot. He loves his grandchild the most and loves to spoil him to the point that it made people shakes their head.
