#17 mistletoe

A/N: Oh damn itI suck at this! Already forgot to upload the imagine for day two. But here you go, December 3rd and you all get an imagine. Promise I won't forget it again. Hope you like this one!

You and Shawn were spending the weekend in Canada and since Christmas time was about to come you decided to help Shawns mum decorate the house. When you arrived at her place she welcomed you happily wrapping both of you in loving hugs. 

"Hey mum, uhh I smell cookies" Shawn said and went into the house. You and his mum laughed following him inside. 

When you entered the kitchen Shawn already had a handful Christmas cookies in his mouth. You smiled at your silly boyfriend. "Don't you think we should first help your mum with the decorating and then eat all her cookies?" you laughed and she joined you. 

"Sure" Shawn said. "I just wanted to make sure it's worth it but those cookies are amazing so let's start!"

Shawns mum guided you out of the kitchen into the living room where a lot of boxes with Christmas stuff were standing. 

"These two" she pointed to some boxes laying on the couch "are for the living room. You can decorate here if you want to. I'll go get the other ones and start in the hallway." You nodded and as soon as she left you and Shawn started to unpack the boxes.

 Christmas music was playing in the background while you decorated everything: from putting candles on the table to hanging up garlands on the wall. Every now and then Shawn wrapped his arm around you or put a kiss on your rosy cheeks. Suddenly his mum entered the room. 

"Aww it looks beautiful in here! I finished the hallway but I still got this." She held up a mistletoe. "Maybe you want to put it somewhere." Shawn nodded, grabbing the mistletoe from his mother.

 He pushed a chair next to the door and stood on it. You went to get him some tape but when you were about to hand it to him he made an awkward face and suddenly he sneezed as hard as you'd never seen him sneeze before. The chair shook, he lost his balance and before you could react he fell, right on top of you. "Ouch" you moaned when you hit the ground. 

Shawn lifted up his body so he could look at you. "You okay princess?" You nodded, but then you saw something above the two of you: The mistletoe fell down, hitting Shawns head. You burst out into laugher, Shawn soon joining you. 

"Well" he whispered "we're still under it, aren't we?" He moved his face closer to you, stopping inches above yours. 

"I love you" he breathed before he finally leaned in for the kiss.
