"I'm back", you heard your boyfriend shout as he entered your shared apartment. You were laying on your bed, watching back some of your favourite shows on Netflix. "I'm here" you yelled back. 

Within seconds Shawn entered the room and laid down next to you. "Hey babe" he whispered as he placed a kiss onto your lips. You snuggled up to him, your head on his chest as his arm was wrapped around you. "Hey." It was a few days after New Year's which you and Shawn celebrated alone this year. It had been great having your boyfriend only to yourself for a while. But today it was his first day back at work. 

"Was it good at the studio?" you asked him while gently tracing your fingers along his abs. He chuckled a little. He would never admit it but you knew he was a bit ticklish at times.

 "It was" he answered. "We finished a new song and which I'm really excited about and we met tons of fans in the city." He smiled up at him. He loved to meet his fans, it was one of his favourite things about his career.

Both of you laid in silence for a while, enjoying each other's company. "Y/n?" Shawn eventually spoke up. You turned your head so you could face him. "You know, I was just wondering, the fans play a huge part in my life and they mean a lot to me and" "You wanna tell them about the baby" you interrupted his ramblings. He nodded and you chuckled. You had been waking for him to bring this up. 

"I don't mind Shawn. I know how much you love them and sooner or later they'd find out anyway." "Thank you so much" he smiled brightly at you as he softly pressed a kiss onto your forehead. He grabbed his phone and opened the front camera. "Shawn" you laughed. "I look horrible." Quickly you hid your face into his chest. 

"Did you take it yet?" you mumbled into his shirt. "Yeah don't worry" he laughed at your shyness. You carefully looked up. Shawn was typing into his phone before he uploaded the picture to Instagram and twitter. You reached for your phone to take a look at his post. 

So happy to share this with you guys! Y/n and I are expecting a baby. I'm gonna be a dad! 

You smiled at his caption. It made you so incredibly happy how excited Shawn was to start his own little family with you. "By the way" he leaned down to whisper in your ear. "You could never look horrible my love."
