#38 surprises

Staring out of the window you sighed. The weather was beautiful outside but you were stuck inside school for a couple more hours. School had become even worse for you lately.

But really, everything was. You found it hard to keep having a normal life whilst you missed your boyfriend Shawn like crazy. He had left for tour a couple months ago and you hadn't seen him in ages.

"Y/n? Are you even paying attention?" Your best friend who was sitting next to you whispered. She knew how much you usually enjoyed English class but today you couldn't be bothered to listen to what y/t/n said.

You shook your head no. "You're missing Shawn a lot aren't you?" Y/f/n carefully asked. You grabbed one of the pencils in front of you and started to draw tiny doodles on your paper. "Yeah" you softly spoke, trying not to get too emotional.

The day passed by and all you did was thinking about Shawn. Finally the school bell rang and you quickly gathered all your things together.

As you walked down the hallway and got closer to the big school doors you realised how many students were gathered together in groups, looking towards the doors and whispering. Some of them had their phones out, showing others something on them.

You walked over to a group of girls you knew from gym class. "What's going on?" You asked them curiously but non of them paid attention to you. Suddenly you felt someone approaching you from behind.

"Y/n!" You saw y/f/n coming closer to you. "You won't guess who's here. Oh my god get your butt out of the school!" She exclaimed and you looked at her confused. Before you could say anything she was dragging you outside.

The sun blinded you and you had to cover it with your hand so you were able to see. "Oh" was all that escaped your mouth as you realised why everyone must have been so excited.

Shawn. He was leaning against a wall in front of your school. Only a couple meters away from you. As he saw you his smile widened and within a few seconds he was in front of you.

"Surprise" he whispered as he pulled you close to him. You stared at him speechless. "I hate surprises" you eventually stated and finally pressed your lips onto his, kissing him passionately. You felt butterflies in your stomach like every time you and Shawn kissed.

The people around you gasped but the two of you didn't care at all. All that mattered was that you finally were in each other's arms again.

"I've missed you so much" you whispered as your lips parted again. Shawns hand gently caressed your cheek. "I missed you too. I promise you, I'll never leave that long again."

You smiled brightly at him. After a couple minutes of adoring each other Shawn eventually grabbed your hand. "Let's get away from here. I think people are staring a little" he chuckled and you followed him to his car.

No matter how many pictures of the two of you might be on the internet now, you couldn't care less. You had Shawn back and that meant more to you than anything else ever could.
