Your P.O.V.

You really couldn't believe what was happening. You had just spent the last few hours backstage at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend festival. Shawn was performing on stage while you were waiting for him. You had arrived in the UK just this morning and since Shawn wouldn't have a concert tonight you both had decided to go out for a date which you had been really excited for. 

Well, you were. Now you're mood had changed. When Shawn excited the stage there were three girls waiting for him who'd won a Meet and Greet for today. Normally you wouldn't have a problem with this kind of stuff at all. It was just part of Shawn's job to meet people and you usually just accepted it. 

But this was different. One of the girls he was meeting was just super pretty and you couldn't stop but star at her and Shawn. 

The way she smiled at him and how she was standing really close next to him. She was full on flirting with your boyfriend. And did your mind just make that up or was he flirting back. 

Now they took a picture together and she asked him for a certain pose. While she got her phone out, ready for the selfie, he pressed his lips on her cheek for the camera. You felt anger building up. You really didn't want to feel this way but just couldn't help it. 

As you kept glaring at her small figure, her perfect styled hair and pretty face you started to compare yourself to her and within seconds your insecurities kicked off. As Shawn didn't seem to say goodbye to them anytime soon you decided you've had enough. You walked away from them and towards the big tent where Andrew and Geoff were waiting for Shawn to finish. 

"Hey y/n what's up? Where's Shawn?" Andrew greeted you as he saw you approaching the two of them. "Oh nothing" you spat "just my boyfriend drooling over some girl that's certainly not me."

 You saw Andrew and Geoff exchanging looks but you just slumped down on the couch next to them and starred in the distance, your posture revealing the anger inside of you. A few minutes passed and the longer you waited for Shawn the more stupid you felt. 

Suddenly you felt the couch give in next to you and a hand touching your leg. Shawn seemed to have finally let go of that bi*** you thought but didn't dare to turn around to him. But when he leant in to press a kiss to your cheek you abruptly got up. Without a word you left him and started to walk away, not really knowing where you should go but away from him.

Shawn's P.O.V.

"Y/N?" I yelled after her, confused as to why she suddenly left. As y/n wouldn't turn back around I raised my eyebrow at Andrew and Geoff, who were sitting on the opposite couch. "What did I do?" 

Geoff pulled a face as he answered me "Well you seemingly have been drooling over a girl that was certainly not her." And Andrew added "He's quoting her with that" whilst looking at me concerned. 

"I wasn't..." I started but Geoff interrupted me. "You should probably just go and explain that to her and not us buddy." I sighed and sprinted in the direction y/n left. 

Eventually I caught sight of her between some of the big tents where she was sitting on the grass, her head placed down on her knees. Slowly I approached her, not wanting her run away again. As I sat down next to her she looked up, this time her face seeming more upset than angry. 

"Y/n..." I started but she cut me off. "Oh keep it Mendes. I saw that you were flirting with her. But I can't really be angry at you for that, can I? She is beautiful, of course you'd fancy her and forget about your ugly ass girlfriend for a while." 

"Stop it!" I couldn't keep listening to her bashing herself. "I don't know what you saw, but I was not flirting with that girl. She was just another fan. And if you think that she was beautiful, alright, she might have been. I didn't notice. Because there's only one girl who's beauty I'm aware of and who I'm admiring every single day without an end and that girl is sitting right next to me right now." 

Finally I saw a smile making it onto her lips. I leaned in to press a passionate kiss onto her lips. She took a hold of my shirt and pulled me even closer, deepening the kiss as if she would want to make sure I knew I was hers. 

I chuckled as we pulled away, both breathless. "Maybe you should get jealous more often. " I winked at her and she blushed, hiding her face in my chest which only made me laugh more. 

"I love you and only you okay" I eventually whispered down at her as I held her close. "Don't ever forget about that."
