Mollie p.o.v
Over the next few days the club barely left the meeting room.  Word from Tara was that they were discussing plans to finish this problem with Jonathan and the Jacks by the end of next week or so. I didn't know what that meant and when I asked what they would be 'finishing' and how Tara informed me that she didn't question them and that I shouldn't either.
For safety reasons the club was on high alert since the Jacks had dropped by and my history had been revealed so everyone was on lock down  in the clubhouse. It was packed full of little feet stamping all over the floors and men and their women covered almost  all available standing space.

I found that I was rarely alone. Layla had over the days attached herself to my hip, not in an annoying way but in a way that she just needed to feel like she was there for me. It didn't bother me or Fiachra in the slightest. Right now we were lounging in the big living area with people all around babbling to each other. The men of the club were finishing up a meeting and had yet to leave the room they occupied.
"I'm a great swimmer! I'll teach your kids Layla, we should go to the pool when it's okay" Fiachra was chatting from the floor to Layla who sat beside me and Tara on one of the many couches in the room.
"Definitely bud" she agreed. My attention was on everything and nothing, I was simply taking in my surrounding, listening to my boy talk non stop about whatever came to his mind.
"Mam taught me how to swim, in the ocean! It was so- what-hey! Auntie Aine" Fiachras sudden screech had my head whipping around to focus on the front door of the building. In amazement I watched my boy jump to his feet, legging it across the room, barrelling through people to wrapped his arms around Aine who stood just inside the door.  She looked amazing, long thick hair hanging around her shoulders, skin tight jeans and a leather jacket, she looked like a badass babe but then again she had always been able attract the attention of a room. Chat lessened around the room but didn't stop at the addition of a stranger to it.
Slowly rising to my feet I made my way towards her. Her focus was on my son until I was a few feet away.
Her eyes rose to mine and she smiled her glamorous smile.
"Hey Millie oh my" she said softly. "Heard you missed your reason for breathing so here I am" she grinned .
Layla behind me softly explained how she had called Aine to come to me.
"Hey! I'm her reason" snapped Fiachra jokingly, he had yet to let go of his aunt.
"You are indeed, big man" she ruffled his hair before reaching her arms out and pulling me in for a hug.  I heard the men make their entrance into the room but didn't move away from Aine as she whispered softly to me.
"You safe here? Or are things heating up hun? Let me know and I'll get in contact with big Jimmy, he owes me a favour" she kept her chin dipped close so it didn't appear as if she was talking to me. I nodded a slight movement of my head to confirm I heard her. Aine being who she had to be in the last few years had pushed herself out on the limb many a time and did stuff others wouldn't approve of. But what we found was she, after years of eating dirt, had many people at her disposal should we every get stuck.  Problem was they were the kind of people you didn't want to be in contact with because things on that side of life got sticky quickly.  I knew Aine understood the seriousness of the situation to suggest contacting one of them.
Breaking apart she once again turned her attention to my son who she hadn't seen in months.
"Been missing you Fiach, we have some serious business to catch up on and I am so-" she was interrupted by Switch.
"Aine."
That's all he said, her first name. It would not have had any relevance or been in any particular way important only for the way he said it and the way she reacted. He spoke her name with a depth of emotion that stopped the timid chatter that had been in the room. Aine, she froze like someone had suddenly dosed her in ice, statue still she didn't react at first. He wasn't much better having stopped in the spot in which he had laid eyes on her. The biker men gathered behind him looking on in confusion.
Looking between the two it suddenly dawned on me that maybe there was more history between the club and us than I had originally believed.
"Jason" she said back lightly while raising her eyes to his. The moment their eyes connected it was confirmed. Everyone in the room would have to be blind or just plain silly to not see the history that spread between them. The moment seemed endless. I couldn't believe it. In all our years I could never have possibly imagined the relationship went past a friendship between these two but right now looking at them, I felt silly for having never noticed it before.
"Jason?" Came from behind me, a voice of complete disbelief and with shock I remembered Tara standing behind me. Stepping forward she faced them both, hands on hips, a clear question on her face. The moment broke, Aine physically shook herself and she put on a fake smile.
"Switch.  Sorry hi, I'm Aine, Millie's friend" she stumbled over her words frantic about it, " Hey,  Squirt show me to your room yeah? I need to put this bag somewhere, and I may have a present somewhere in there for my favourite man" she ruffled his hair and followed him from the he room, leaving us all in an extremely awkward silence. Slowly conversation started against I think solely for the sake of getting rid of the silence. A silent message passed between Switch and Tara before they both exited the clubhouse and a few seconds later I heard his bike roar to life outside. Turning towards the hall Aine and Fiachra  had disappeared down I made eye contact with Cut. His face head the same puzzled surprise as mine. Slowly though it faded into something else as he looked at me. We hadn't spoken since he had come into my bed and since then anytime I've seen him he's had Jessica hanging off him, not that he seemed to mind. Right now her arm was wrapped fully around his waist and his around her shoulder. I couldnt take it. I turned and made my way down the hall to get my family. With Aine here it was time we left the compound and went back to the apartment me and Fiachra now called home.

So I know there isn't a lot in this chapter but I know where the next five or six chapters are going so hang tight. Crazy idea came to me a while back so I'm going to need your feed back on it. Obviously you've gotten I've hinted at a past between Aine and Switch and now I'm wondering what you would feel about knowing their stories in a whole other book? After I finish this one off?? Thoughts? Xx
