"Say something, please." Thirdy, their first born, said. He looked directly in the eyes of his mother, Maine, his father, Richard and his twin sister, Charmaine.
They stayed silent. No one dared speak because they didn't know what to say or do with what Thirdy just said.
Thirdy, on the other hand was slightly relieved that his other twin siblings, Athena and Siegfried, weren't there to witness what was about to unfold.
"If that's how it's gonna be, I'm leaving." Thirdy stood up with tears welling up in his eyes, and slowly moved towards the dining room door.
"We know. We always did." His dad, Richard, said. He stood there, fearing the next words he might hear.
When he turned to look at his dad, he didn't expect what he saw. His father suddenly clutched his chest, his face masking utter pain, and then dropped to the floor. His breathing turned weak and was labored.
"Dad!" Thirdy shouted.
