"Ten blade." Thirdy said as he asked the scrub nurse what to hand him. He's going perform an open heart surgery to the patient that was lying on the table. In the room with him is twin sister, Charmaine Faulkerson. They call her Dr. C. She's a general surgeon who'll be performing an abdominal artery repair on the patient between them.

"What do you wanna do?" His sister asked. He's the main surgeon on the case that's why everything she needed to do had to be on his orders. It's also known in the hospital that Dr. Richard Faulkerson III — also known as Dr. Thirdy — didn't want anyone messing up his technique, even his sister.

"We need to control all these bleeding first. Hang a unit of blood. Clamp and sponge please." They both grabbed sponges from the nurses and packed the patient to control the bleeding.

The surgery ended fast. The two of them weren't called ballet surgeons for nothing. Whenever the two of them operated, the surgical table is like poetry in motion. Everything is in sync and the surgery goes smoother than it usually does.

"That went well." Charmaine said while performing the last suture on the patient.

"Yeah. Sebastian will be so happy that his mom survived the surgery." Thirdy said. He removed his gown and gloves then proceeded towards the door. "I'll notify him. Will you be okay?" He looked directly at his sister.

"I got this. You go ahead. Wait for me at the lounge. Eat, okay?" She said as she dressed the surgical site.

"Yeah, whatever."

Thirdy made his way to the patient's room to tell the relative that the surgery was a success. It has been his routine whenever he gets partnered with Charmaine. People tend to be nicer and calmer whenever he gives the good news.

"Hey, Mr. Benedict?" He knocked, surprising the person inside the room to immediately sit upright. "Good afternoon."

"Call me Sebastian." The tall, tanned and browned eyed person inside the room extended his hand. Thirdy shook it but he didn't immediately let go. "How was my mom's surgery?"

"It went as expected. No complications. She'll be monitored in the recovery room for a while and if no post-op complications arise, we'll move her back to this room —usually within 24 to 48 hours." Thirdy hasn't let go of Sebastian's hand yet when suddenly, the other guy pulled him in for a hug.

"Thank you doctor. Oh my God. Thank you so much!" The hug that Sebastian gave him sent tingles down his spine and when they broke the hug, their eyes met. Sebastian wasn't able to help himself, pulling Dr. Thirdy in for a kiss.

At that moment, Thirdy forgot everything that he was doing and kissed back. As long as no one knew his secret, it'll be okay.
