Today was the day everyone has been waiting for ever since July 16, 2015. A lot has believed but still surprised that they made it. After all, not many celebrity first time love teams get married for real. They really are getting married, for real this time.

But no one is more excited - or restless - than the groom. He was pacing back and forth, twiddling with his engagement ring (the third, the one they bought together) and was talking to himself. As usual.

"Dapat sanay ka na sa ganito diba? Sa splitscreen nga kayo nagsimula diba? (He smiled at that) Kinaya mo na tong magkahiwalay kayo ng maraming beses, at mas matagal pa. Saglit nalang."

Yes, Richard Faulkerson Jr. talks to himself. He has that level of crazy in him, didn't you know? He must've picked it up while internalizing the characters he portrays. And now, his smile turned to a frown.

"Iba kase to eh. Dati pwede magusap sa phone bago magprep. Dati pwedeng magkasama. Bakit ngayon, kahit hindi pa prep time, di na kami pwedeng magkita?"

He remembers other weddings, as reel and scripted and fake they might be, the feling of getting getting married to Maine is still very much real. He stops pacing, and ends up in front of his door.

"Well may ilang oras pa naman bago prep time, baka pwede pa." Richard contemplated, something holding him back.

"Wala namang masamang sundin ang pamahiin iho. Totoo na to ngayon. Namnamin mo na munang di siya makita, makakasama mo naman na siya habangbuhay." Maine's grandmother - her real one, not Lola Nidora - told him when they arrived here.

"Pero sabi ni Father Jeff, wag maniwala sa pamahiin."

To go or not to go?

Apparently his hand's got a mind of it's own and turned the doorknob open. No turning back now, he's off to see -

"MAINE!"

Her lips crash to him in greeting. She didn't even close the door, he notices, trying to take note of everything except her, her lips and this inhuman urge to throw her in his bed and not give a fuck about anything except fucking her.

Their kiss was needy, it was raw and he was feeling all of her emotions at once. It wasn't slow, like they're used to, whispering words of utter adoration to each other. Nor wasn't it angry, proving time and again of their love, their loyalty, their promise. Tayong dalawa lang. No, this was different.

Maine was sucking on to him like he's the air she needed to breathe, gripping on his arms like he'll disappear any moment and squeezing her body against him like puzzle pieces fit.

He's desperately trying to stop himself, worrying about his losing grip on his sanity. If it does, he won't be able to control himself and his hands seem to have a mind of his own. They're inside her shirt, holding her sides, touching her stomach, her lower back arching against him. He's not even sure of the sounds they're making. His is of panic and pleasure, trying (and failing) to keep it in his pants and hers is of impatience, of breathlessness, of more, more, more.

Richard's hands are going up, up, up as she tugs his hair and her hands go down, down, down, to his ear, to his neck and his shoulders. Slowing down to his chest as he cannot take this anymore, and now her hands are at the doorknob behind him.
