My deep sleep was once again interrupted by Joy's loud cries bouncing off the bedroom walls, followed by Journey's.
"I'm comin' baybehs" I said rolling out of bed stepping in my slippers.
My fluffy pink slippers slid across the marble floors as I made my way to the other side of the room.
"It's okay mamas" I said as I started to change Joy.
I hope I see you on the otherside...
So we can kick it like we did before...
I hope you leave a little room on the other side...
So I know I got some where that I can go...
I hope I'm not banging at the door saying let me in...
And I pray that I'm forgiven for my sins...

I heard Aug sing softly as he changed Journey's diaper and began to rock her back to sleep.
A smile crept upon my face, as both of the girls cries softly faded away. He always knew when and how to help me out.
"Babe, you didn't have to get outta bed" I said as he laid Journey back down.
"Don't worry bout it ma, you know I got chu baybeh. We in dis thang together" he said in the crook of my neck as he wrapped his arms around me as I cradled Joy.
"You know I luhh you right?"
"I love you more" I smiled.
I felt him shake his head in disagreement.
"Impossible"
"J," he said.
"Yes?" I ask.
"I uhh, I wrote a song fa you, wanna hear it?"
"Of course"
Where did ya come from..
