Chapter 29: Elevator

Liza's POV

Oh god why why why out of all people was it David?No no no! I was freaking out. I slowly stepped into the elevator and stood awkwardly at the other side.

Davids POV

Honestly, I was happy that I got to see Liza even if it was incredibly awkward. I wanted to try and fix things between us because I loved her and I hated fighting. I don't think we could have made the elevator more awkward though as we were both just standing there tapping her feet and Liza was pleating a strand of her hair which I knew she only did when she was nervous or in an awkward situation.

Just then the elevator stopped but the doors didn't open.
D- That's weird...
L- Umm did the elevator just break
D- Yep I think so I'll use this phone
I picked up the phone and pressed help.
A- Hello?
D- Um hi yeh we are in an elevator that just stopped
A- Are you with anyone
D- yeh my girlfriend
A- Help will be here in about 15 minutes
D- Okay thanks for the help

L- What she say?
D- She said help will be here in fifteen minutes
L- David did you call me you girlfriend on the phone
D-Ummm yeh sorry
L- well I guess technically we are still a thing
D- Look I'm sorry Liza I didn't mean to snap at you I love you and I'm so so sorry!

Liza's POV

I don't know why but after David said he loved me it made me tear up and I ran over to give him a hug then he started crying to.

We sat down together and talked, talked about all the best memories we had had over the time we had been together.
David laughed.
D- Remember when Alex walked in on us cuddling in bed before we were officially dating?
L- Yeh

(Italics are flashbacks)

Liza's POV

I remember I had stayed over at Davids last night and we cuddled a lot. Maybe it was weird that we did stuff like that and we weren't a couple yet but we felt like a couple plus it was late last night and I didn't want to drive home in the dark and I could stay over because none of his roommates were back until the next morning. When I had woken up I looked at my phone which read '8:07'.
L- David wake up your roommates will be back soon
D- Please 5 more minutes
L- fine
5 minutes turned into about 2 hours and I woke up to the sound of David's phone ringing.
L- David get that
David grabbed his phone and answered it.
D- Oh hey Alex
My eyes widened and I looked at David he was muttering some random words then hung up.
D- Well Alex is coming like now
L- Umm I can't leave he will see me!
D- Hide under the covers and lie really flat and he won't notice you
L- okay
I pulled the covers over me and lay flat on the bed.

Davids POV

Alex stormed into my room clearly in a bad mood.
D- Alex what do you want?
A- We need to buy a new table I smashed the last one
D- that's your fault!
A- Just come and help me!
D-NO!
A- Get your but out of bed you lazy toad
Alex came over to my bed.
D- No no im good
A- Get up!
Alex pulled the covers away to see Liza laying there awkwardly.
A- Um David why is she in your bed
D- ummmm
L- Suprise....!?
A- Okay this is weird are you guys dating
D- Not yet...
A-Well I'm leaving you guys to be alone see you later
L- Bye Alex
A- Bye Liza

L- Of course I remember that it was so awkward I can't look at Alex the same way again
D- Hahaha
L- Remember the first month where we wanted to ask each other out but none of us had the guts?
D-Yeh...
