Chapter 94: Gender Reveal

Gabbies POV

Today was the gender reveal for Liza and David's baby. What I was planning to do was get a cake that had either blue/ pink smarties in it so when you cut it open they fell out. I ordered the cake from this high end cake store and I was going to get Zane to pick it up at twelve because the party starts at one.

Carly, Erin, Kirsten and I were busy hanging decorations in the house and preparing everything.

C- I can't believe David and Liza are having a kid
E- I know! We need to hurry up guys they are like years younger than us!
G- Well I have Zane anyway
K- You planning any babies soon?
G- Hopefully, I would love to have a kid
C- You would be a great mum!
E- True dat
G- Well what about you Kirsten?
K- Honestly I really want kids but I think I'll wait till after marriage
E- Scotty needs to hurry up and propose already
C- True dat
G- WAIT! What time is it?
K- quarter past twelve, why?
G- Oh no Zane was suppose to pick up the cake at twelve! Now the cake is going to be late and the whole party will be ruined! This is all my fault I'm so-
Z- Hey guys!
Zane walked through the door holding the cake in his hand.
G- Oh thank god Zane
Z- What? You don't trust me
C- Hahah I wouldn't trust Zane to look after my goldfish
G- Oh well lets get finished decorating cause it's going to start soon!

Liza's POV

I was four months pregnant now and it was really starting to show. Today was the day of our gender reveal party and I was so excited to find out! David and I got changed and hopped into the Tesla and drove to the Scott's house where we were holding the baby shower.
When we arrived the guests where already there and talking to each other. Gabbie spotted us and came over towards us.
G- HEY GUYS!!
L- Someone's excited
G- Of course this is an exciting event!
D- Wow the decorations look great Gabbie, this must have taken you a while
G- Well I had some help
L- Yeh thanks Gabbie for setting this up
G- No problem honestly, I enjoy doing this kinda stuff
D- So when do we get to the fun part
G- Ooh! Let's start now!
Gabbie dragged us towards the kitchen where we saw a white cake.
G- EVERYONE GATHER ROUND!!!!
Everyone crowed around and some took out there phones to film this amazing moment.
G- Alright just cut the cake and the smarties will pour out, blue for a boy, and pink for a girl!
David and I grabbed the knife and cut the cake. Smarties poured out and everyone cheered while David and I looked into each other's eyes.
G- ITS A BOY!!!

Okay so I'm mad because I have a hockey trial tomorrow for a team I really want to get into but I have pulled a muscle in the back of my leg😔😬 but just a quick question, a few people commented saying stuff like, " You say I'm called instead of my name is" like what? I was always taught it was I'm called! Is it an American thing? But yeh that was just on my mind so thanks guys❤❤❤❤❤
