Liza's POV
It had been months since we lost the baby, of course I was getting better but their just feels like there is a part of me missing. Tonight David went out to go sleepover at Alex's to have some bro time. Their was a really bad storm outside, hopefully it settled soon.
I hopped into bed and began to fall into an endless world of imagination...
Alex was calling me. Weird. I picked up my phone and answered.
L- Alex what is wrong?
A- I'm sorry, get to the hospital now!
Alex hung up and I quickly drove to the hospital. I ran to the front desk.
L- Where's David dobrik
N- Who are you?
L- His wife
N- He's in that room over there
I ran over and a doctor stopped me from coming inside. I heard a beeping noise from inside. Long beeping noise.
The doctor ran in while I screamed and shouted.
D- I'm sorry, he's gone...
L- NOOOO!
I looked around and realised I was just in my bed. Phew. Just a nightmare. I looked at my phone to see some missed calls from David, I called him and he picked up instantly.
D- Hey you didn't pick up my calls
L- I... w..was sleeping
D- You okay babe?
L- F..fine
D- Did you have a nightmare?
L- N...N..No
D- okay bye love you babe
I curled up in a ball, frightened to go back to sleep. Thunder and lightning struck rapidly and every time they did more and more fear curdled up inside of me. I just sat there, tired but not wanting to sleep. God I wish David was here.
About half an hour had pasted and I still couldn't get a wink of sleep. I let a tear slip from my eye, I missed David.
Suddenly I heard my bedroom door open and there stood David drenched head to toe holding a hot chocolate and a big teddy bear and lots of blankets.
D- You have no idea how long it took me to get this dam hot choco-
I jumped into Davids arms making him and I both fall to the ground. We laughed together and it was the first time tonight I haven't been scared.
L- I love you so much
D- I got you all drenched, look!
I looked down at my grey top and saw it had big dots of darker patches.
L- David you really think I care?
D- I knew you were scared
I gave him a big hug.
L- Thanks Dobrik
D- No problem Mrs Dobrik
He squeezed me tightly and gently kissed my head.
D- Maybe we should get of the floor ?
L- That would be a good idea
