Chapter 73: The big day pt 2

Liza's POV

After the ceremony we travelled to a big party venue and ate a lot. We all sat down when it was time for speeches.
Gabbie stood up and tapped her glass, signalling that we should listen to her.
G- Okay so I would like to make a speech
D- Urrrr no
I laughed then playfully hit David.
L- Of course Gabbie
G- Wow, finally the big day were two people made for each other come together. I know you too have been through a lot and have put me through a lot with all your dam fighting but you get through it together. I don't any two people better made for each other Liza is like a sister to me and David is ..... well and A hole.
Everyone laughed
G- But I swear to god David if you break her heart I'll break your god dam FACE!!!!
D- Okay thanks Gabbie..... moving on
I stood up ready to say something, I hadn't prepared anything so I came up with something of the top of my head.
L- David, I know we have already said our vows and all that cheesy stuff so I'm just going to talk from the heart. David I am so glad I met you, I do not know what my life would be like without you. You help me through the days I don't feel like living and I want to say thanks. Thanks for being there for me, thanks for caring for me when I'm sick, thanks for making me feel like I matter, thanks for sticking with me when I was mad and finally thanks for loving me forever and for always.
David stood up and hugged me. He whispered thank you into my ear.
Zane and Heath both stood up, they were sorta drunk already so this was going to be good.
Z- TIME FOR OUR SPEECHES!!
H- YOU KNOW IT!
Z- We couldn't think of two people better to get married, there love for each other is clear and I think they are the cutest couple ever!
H- except for me and Zane
Z- Yasss! But seriously when you have kids you will both be great parents and an amazing family
H- Honestly, I only did this so I could be picked as the godparent
Z- HELL NO IM THE GODFATHER
H- I THINK NOT!!!!!
Z- YESS IM BETTER
H- No your not!!!
D-Okay well thanks Zane and Heath for that interesting speech....
Davids mom stood up.
DM- I think Toby would like to say something
Toby stood up and cleared his throat.
T- Today has been one of my favowite days ever! I am very happy for David because I know he wuvs Liza very much because he talks bout her all the time. When I first met Liza I didn't like her because I was sure she was trying to take David from me! But she turned out to be verrry nice and a gweat sister. Oh and won last fing, when u have your first baby boy you need to call it Toby!
I laughed at Toby's speech, he was adorable and I was so glad that this was my family now.

Davids POV

After the wedding had come to an end Liza and I went back to our apartment. We decided to just chill and watch some movies.
L- Thanks for marrying me today
D- My pleasure
L- When are we leaving for the honeymoon?
D- Early tomorrow. I was going to go tonight but I'm too tired, are you all packed?
L- Yep I'm all set ready to go
I wrapped my arm around Liza and kissed her head.
D- I love my new wife
L- And I love my new husband
