Liza's POV
L- David what do you want for lunch?
David ran through to the kitchen.
D- Liza! You are past your due date! It is only fair that I do everything and let you rest as, let's be honest, it will be the last piece of rest you get!
L- Thanks David but I think I can manage
D- Seriously, sit down and I'll put on a movie
L- Considering it seems like you won't give up I will do what you say
D- Good because I want to take good care of you
David was being very cute today but I think the main reason was that he was very sure the baby would have come before now and if not very, VERY soon. Me? Well not so much, see I just think I will get a feeling and I will know when the baby is about to come, perhaps this information could have just come form a mom's blog I had been reading lately and I may have got a bit carried away. Let's just say I went very far into the dark hole of the internet and to conclude I am NOT looking forward to childbirth. In all these documentaries you don't see the awful side of pregnancy, all they show you is a bubbly, healthy baby with glowing features and the mother looks like she has just come out from a beauty salon after giving birth. When I give birth I will probably look like some sort of sweaty potato, no discrimination against potatoes though!
D- Here's your lunch, chicken and tomatoes sandwich just the way you like it
L- Thanks David, do you want to come out and sit on the balcony with me?
D- Sure it's a nice day
L- It is
I walked out into the balcony with my plate in my hand. David snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
Suddenly I felt a pain in my stomach and liquid run down my leg....
My water just broke....
