Chapter 87: It's time

Liza's POV

Btw this is three months later

I woke up to my phone ringing in my ear. I unwrapped Davids arms from around me and answered the phone. It was my mum.
LM- hunny come quick it's your father
L- No... I'm coming as fast as I can
LM- he doesn't have long
I shook David rapidly while crying.
L- D..d..David we need to go it's my dad
D- Come on then!
I threw on a hoodie and sweats then just slipped on some trainers. David threw on a hoodie, shorts and shoes.
We ran to the car where we mostly sped the way there but I didn't care. I just wanted to see my dad one last time...

When we got there i ran through to his room and saw my mum and family in tears. My dad was lying with his eyes barely open, his hair all fallen out and tubes sticking in and out of his arms.
L- Oh dad
I ran over and knelt down holding his hand. David walked over and held his other hand.
D- Mr Koshy, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for everything you have done for me and your beautiful daughter, thnak you for excepting me into your family and thank you for walking my wife down the aisle. I will miss you so much, we all will but Mr Koshy, I hope you have had the best life and you have seen your daughter grow up and live her life and that is something not many people get to see. I wish my Dad looked out for me, I really do but you were like my second dad so thank you..

After Davids speech I burst into tears and my dad leant over and wiped my away.
LD- I used to do that when you were little Liza, that only felt like yesterday... gosh your are so big now
L- Dad i am 5 foot
My dad let out a small chuckle and sighed.
LD- I'm going to miss you all
Everyone hugged him and cried.
L- Urm so you guys think I could have my last words with my dad in private?
D- Of course babe
They all walked out the room alone and I held my dads hand.
L- Dad i can't describe how much I am going to miss you, but you have seen me grow and marry the love of my life. So dad I want to tell yo pu something no one else knows. I'm pregnant Dad.
My dads lips curved into a smile and he closed his eyes, then the beeping started. The doctors ran in but there was nothing they could do. My dad died a happy man.
