Chapter 40: The last note...

Liza's POV

The note read:

Dear Liza,

So you found the last note
Now just follow these instructions and don't look at the next one until you have finished the one you are on

Step 1:
Go to your apartment and get ready (wear something fancy)

So I drove to my apartment and looked for what to wear.
L- Ugh I can't find anything!
I kept looking and looking until I eventually found something adorable at the bottom of my closet.
It was a beautiful lilac coloured short dress with a small silver belt. I then did my make up and my eyebrows, grabbed my phone, keys and some money and looked at the next step.

Step 2

At 6 O'clock be ready for me to pick you up

I looked at my watch and it was 5:57, I decided to just sit on my beige couch and wait till 6.
At 6pm exactly I heard a knock on my door. I ran over to go open it and there was David standing in a tux with a bouquet of roses in his hand and a huge smile on his face.
D- Liza you look amazing!
L- David you never wear a tux!
D- I wanted to impress you
L- So where are we going then?
D- I can't tell you it's a surprise!
L- Fine
D- Now come on I'm taking you to my tesla we are going somewhere special
He kissed my head and took my hand and escorted me to his car.

Earlier that day, Davids POV

I was very nervous, today was the big day, the day I propose! Of course I needed Liza's parents permission and I was real,y hoping they said yes because I had already set everything up.
So I set up a FaceTime call with Liza's parents.
(Ld- Liza's dad LM- Liza's Mum)

They picked up on the third ring, my heart was pounding.
LM- Hello David!
D- Hi Mr and Mrs Koshy
LD- To what do we owe this pleasure?
D-Well actually I have to ask you guys something...
LM- Anything!
D- I want to propose to Liza...
I heard a gasp.
D- But erm if you guys want me to wait I will
LM- Don't be stupid! Of course that is okay! I have never seen Liza as happy with someone as she is with you
D- Mrs Koshy are you crying?
LM- I'm just so happy!
LD- Now David you better take care of her or I will come and hurt you!
D- Yes of course I love your daughter more than anything I would never hurt her!
LD- Good then yes you can marry her
D- Well I better go get things set up, Bye!
LD+LM- Bye!

Liza's POV

We arrived at this building. It was quite big so I was curious to what David had planned.
D- Here we are!
L- Where are we
D- come inside and you will see
I walked inside to see that this was one of those places where you could get a helicopter ride!
L- David are we going in a helicopter!?
D- Yep you guessed it!
L- Oh.....my......god
David got everything sorted then we went through the safety brief and went out into the helicopter.
D- How you feeling?
L-Scared
D- Well I'll be here with you
L- This is amazing though I can't believe you planned all of this!
D- anything for you
I cuddled with him and then the helicopter took of into the air.
L- Wow look at the view!
D- We are going to fly over the beach soon it will be beautiful
L- Yeh.... wow look at everything!
D- It's amazing
L- Thanks so much David I love you so much!
D- And I love you too
We looked at all the amazing sights for a while then we flew down a bit lower which I though was weird, right over the beach.
D- Look at the beach!
I looked down at the sand and I swear I saw writing on it, i looked closer and did see writing.
L- Will..... you marry.... me.... Liza?
I was very confused so I turned around to ask David when I saw I'm on one knee holding out a ring box. I gasped, it was so perfect.
D- Liza Koshy, pookie, we have been through some rough times with the stress of Dan and having stupid arguments over nothing but we made it through all of those and I want to stay with you until I grow old, I want to picture myself having kids with you and seeing them grow up. Growing old with you and loving every second I spend with you, I love you so much baby. Will you marry me?
L- Yes! Of course!
I pulled him in for a long kiss and cried joyful tears into his shoulder. I loved him.
