Chapter 85: No

Liza's POV

The words bounced of every corner of my brain till I felt like screaming, my vision went blurry, I must have heard things wrong.
L- What do you mean? You must be wrong! TELL ME YOU ARE LYING TELL ME THIS IS ALL A JOKE!
LD- I have stage three liver cancer Liza, I'm sorry...
L- NO NO....
I began to sob and collapsed into my Dads arms.
L- No....
We didn't speak for the next few minutes, we just stood there crying. Eventually my dad brought me to sit in his car. I managed to sniffle out a few words;
L- B...but.. when?
LD- the day before your wedding I was diagnosed
L- Wh..why di..didn't you te..tell me?
LD- I didn't want to ruin my daughters perfect day
L- Dad I don't want you to leave me
LD- Liza.. I have seen my daughter marry the love of her life,that's enough for any parent to see in there life.
L- H..h..how long ..left?
LD- they said around four months
I gasped and sobbed when I heard the number.
LD- Liza its fine, just know I will always love you
L- I know dad...
LD- I should get going to the hospital Liza, for medication.
L- Okay Dad, bye I love you and I'm sorry if I ignored you.
LD- It's okay Liza, I know this is hard for you but we will get through this, I promise.
My dad let go of my hand and drove away, I ran. I ran to Gabbies because I couldn't see David right now.
I quickly knocked on Gabbies door with tears streaming down my face, she opened with a smile which quickly turned into a frown.
G- Liza come here...
I gave Gabbie a hug then fell onto the floor and cried my heart out.
G- What's wrong? I swear if David did somethi-
L- My Dad... he has cancer
I broke down as soon as the words came out of my mouth and Gabbie started crying and giving me hugs.
L- Can I sleep here tonight?
G- Of course but have you told David
L- No not yet and please don't tell him yet just call him tell him I am staying over

Gabbies POV

*on phone*

G- Hey David
D- Hey have you seen Liza? She was suppose to be back ages ago
G- Yeh she is with me she just wants to stay over here tonight
D- Why didn't she call me?
G- Uuuuuu her phone is.... dead...... yeh her phone is dead!
D- Oh well tell her to call me once it's charged
G- okay I will David
D- Just tell her I miss her and I'm lonely
G- Okay David I will
D- And tell her I love her an-
I hung up and threw my phone onto the bed. I put on a movie and me an Liza just chilled most of the night.
