Chapter 93: Do we want to know?

Liza's POV

So today is the day I go to get my next check up on the baby, it is also the day that I can find out the gender.... if I want too. See I'm really not sure if I want to or not because I hate surprises but I feel like it would be an awful way to find out the sex. I asked David what he thought.
L-Daaavvvviid!
D- whhhhatttt?
L- Come here a sec!
D- Fine
David walked through and sat down beside me on the couch.
L- Do you think we should find out the gender today?
D- I don't know actually
L- see I want to know before it's born but not this early into the pregnancy
D- I have a plan, why don't we bring Gabbie along and the doctor can tell her then we can have a gender reveal party!
L- I love that idea thanks babe
D- No problem

Gabbie, David and I walked into the waiting room and took our seat. We still had a little bit before our appointment so we decided we would just catch up.
L- So Gabbie how are you and Zane?
G- Good, well great actually! We have been discussing having children so yeh!
D- Sounds like he's the perfect guy for you
G- He is
L- Guys it's time to go in
Our appointment went by pretty fast until we had to go stand outside so gabbie could hear the gender.
D- I wonder what it is
L- I have no clue, some people say you have a feeling but I don't
We heard Gabbie squeal with excited from inside the office.
D- So she must be happy
L- Yeh but gabbie gets excited if Dominoes are having a discount
David laughed and nodded his head.
D- I guess your right, I just can't wait till we get to be with this little one
David put his hand on my stomach and just stared at it for a while.
L- David sorry to ruin this sentimental moment and all but you look really creepy just staring like that
D- I'm not allowed to look at my own kid?
L- Maybe if it was just a lump hiding behind my stomach!
David laughed and gave me a kiss.
D- I love you
L- I love you too
