Justin was going to kill me?

B-but why?

How?

When?

I unconsciously took a step away from him, which resulted in him looking hurt, "Kailey, don't believe her. I would never hurt you." Justin pleaded.

"How?" I asked Lisa.

"How what?" Lisa cocked her head.

I glared at her, "How does he kill me?!"

"No, no, no, no. You've misunderstood me. I didn't say he'd kill you. I said he'd be the reason you die." Lisa corrects.

'Cause that makes it any better.

"I don't care, how does it happen." I clench my fists, getting impatient.

She sighs, then looks to Artemist, "You can put me down now, I won't hurt your precious brother."

Artemist glared at her a moment longer, before releasing her. Lisa then walks over to the table and takes a seat. We all then joined her.

Lisa's eyes bore into mine, "It happens because you try and protect him."

"What?" I was getting more and more confused with every word coming out of her mouth.

Lisa began, "A few weeks ago-when you first arrived- I had a vision of both the past and future. In the one about the past I saw The Circle the-"

"What's the circle?" I interrupted.

"Not what, but who."

"Alriiight, who is The Circle?" I asked.

"A group of powerful witches-picked by the moon goddess herself- I saw them talking about a prophecy. A prophecy about you and him." She nodded her head in Justin's direction, "The prophecy said that you two were created to be together. You are mates. Destined for each other. The Circle believed that if the world saw that two people from two different species- species that both almost became extinct because of wars that happened between the two- were mated then there would no doubt be peace around the world."

"What?!" I yelled standing up from my seat, "Mates? You must be mistaken. T-this Circle is mistaken, we can't be mates. It's not possible." I shook my head, moving away from the table.

"We aren't mistaken, Kailey. You two are mates, the only reason you didn't know that he's yours was because Justin doesn't have a wolf, so yours couldn't call out to him. To claim him as yours." Lisa explained. I just stood shocked.

Mates?

A Werewolf mated to a Vampire has never even happened before.

"What was your vision of the future?" Heather- my sister- spoke up.

"The war. The one that is approaching us, I saw Justin get injured pretty badly- and Kailey being his mate had the urge to protect him and because of that she dies. She became to focused on Justin, she didn't see when the rouge came for her. That's why I have to kill him. If he dies, Kailey won't. I don't care if I ruin a chance at peace between the two species, or the world. That, that Vampire must die."
