"Gooo Bullworth!" Mandy and her fellow over enthusiastic squad members cheered and jumped around.

It was the time of the year at Bullworth where everyone is talking about football and going to games. The nerds come to plot their revenge, preps because it makes them look cool, and the bullies, to well, bully people.

The one thing that didn't make sense to me is why the greasers come to the games. Very few do, like right now. Vance and Ricky were a few feet away from me on the bleachers, conversing and laughing here and there.

The greasers always peaked my interest but they aren't the most approachable people on school grounds. I've only ever talked to Ricky out of the group, he helped me in shop every now and then.

"Hey sweetheart" speaking of Ricky. I glanced over my shoulder to see him looking directly at me. Sweetheart? I don't like where this is going.

"Uh hi" I greeted awkwardly.

"What is a beautiful lady like yourself doing all alone?" He questioned as he sat beside me.

"I'm uh," I paused, looking at the ground, "I'm here to watch my boyfriend play." I finished, looking up to see him on the field.

"Boyfriend? Every time I see you around, you're alone. What kind of man would leave his lady alone all day. Such a beauty should be showered with attention." He smiled at me, taking my breathe away. At this point, I couldn't even contain my blush. Ricky must've noticed because his charming grin had gotten much bigger.

"Oh um, he's been busy with practice and all." I frowned, knowing that wasn't a very good reason.

Ricky was right, Juri was never around and hardly paid any attention to me anymore. Every time I bring it up, it turns into an argument. I've thought about giving up on things, but haven't been able to push myself into breaking it off.

"No game is more important than you babe." He stated with a more serious expression.

I looked up and flashed him a saddened smile as to thank him and got up to leave. I got to the bottom of the stairs leading away from the field when a gentle hand was placed on my shoulder.

"What will it take to convince you that you deserve better?" It was Ricky with a slightly saddened expression.

I looked at the ground for a minute, thinking of how I'd even respond to that question.

"I don't know Ricky. Why do you care so much?" I looked up into his eyes, me being upset now completely obvious.

"Because I care about you Y/n. Helping you in shop is the highlight of my days and seeing you upset just hurts me. You're too cute to be upset." He smiled down at me warmly, stroking my cheek gently with his thumb.

"Thank you" I nearly whispered, smiling sheepishly at the ground.

After stroking my cheek one last time, he put a finger under my chin, tilting my head to look into his eyes.

"You're worth more than this Y/n" he whispered, slowly leaning in as if giving me time to object, which I didn't.

Ricky's lips slowly and lovingly crashed into mine making me forget and not want to remember anything but this exact moment. I instantly kissed back, smiling as his hand left my chin to the back of my head. There was more affection in this kiss than Juri had ever had for me.

As Ricky pulled away, I grinned cheekily, looking into his eyes for a second for reassurance that he had actually just kissed me. As soon as that charming smile returned, I looked to my side, blushing like crazy.

When I looked over my smile instantly dropped, causing Ricky to look over as well. Juri was glaring in our direction causing a chill to creep down my spine. If I didn't know better, I'd say there was literal steam rolling out of his head. I had never seen him so angry.

"He's going to kill you," I whispered looking back up to Ricky, wide-eyed, "and me."

"Nobody will ever hurt you. I'll make sure of that. As for me, I'll kick his ass." He now had a cocky grin plastered to his face, looking back at Juri and waving.

I glared at Ricky unamused, not convinced things would be alright.

"Everything will be fine babe. Come on." He held out a hand, which I hesitantly placed mine in, him leading us away from Juris death glares.

As promised, Ricky did beat Juri, who had found us right after the game. With a little help from Vance and Peanut of course.

Juri left, defeat obvious in his face. He hadn't talked to me since, just sending evil looks when Ricky and I were together.

We were together most of the time. By the first month of us being together, he taught me basically everything there is to know about fixing, upgrading, and just building a bike in general. I always stay with him during his little projects which seemed to make him extremely happy.

After talking about our lives for a while, I had found out that his ex left him for a jock. He was so caught up in his projects, that she felt like he wasn't paying enough attention to her. He laughed after telling me the story, walking over to me and taking my hands in his own.

"I'm so glad I met you babe. You're so perfect. I'm happy my hobbies don't bother you, not many girls around here would even stand in a garage this long," he kissed my forehead, "or look as good helping me." He added, looking me over and winking before walking back over to his bike.
