I was working my usual cashier job at Burgers in Old Bullworth Vale, when I heard a vehicle pull in with its speakers thumping.

I had just got done taking a kind elderly mans order when Ted and his group of followers walked in.

Ted always came in on Thursday nights to talk to me when the line was empty. I'd say we were actually pretty good friends. He's the reason that I'm passing gym, and I'm the reason he's passing chemistry.

Ted usually seemed a bit rude when he was with his friends, but now he was being quieter than usual. He was also standing behind them, when usually he ordered first.

After I put in Kirby, Bo, Casey, and Luis' orders, they walked over to wait for their food, leaving just Ted. Kirby patted his shoulder as he walked past.

"Hey Y/n," he greeted nervously.

"Hey Ted," I greeted back with a smile, "What can I get for you?"

"I actually came to see what you were doing after work?" He asked more confidently, me now being the nervous one.

"Oh... I uh... I don't know. Nothing I suppose." A huge smile spread across his face.

"Wanna go do something? Like a date?"

A woman cleared her throat from behind him.

"Ted you're holding up the line," I stated, trying to change the subject.

"I'm not leaving until I get an answer," he smirked.

I was getting annoyed, "I get off at seven."

He grinned and nodded, walking back over to his friends, who all gave him a hard pat on the back. They went to sit and eat at a booth near the back of the restaurant. Ted occasionally glanced over at me, smiling. I blushed every time I felt his eyes on me.

I was a bit relieved when they left.

It's seven, the time I've nervously awaited. I took my work apron and hat off, putting them up and walking outside; where I was instantly greeted by Ted.

"Hey," he greeted, pulling a bouquet of flowers from behind his back, "you ready?"

"Yeah," I couldn't help but smile at how sweet he was being. He handed me the flowers and held out his hand. I accepted the gift and put my hand in his.

We started walking and making small talk about our days and the upcoming game. Before I realized it, we were in front of the Homemade Ice Cream shop that's across the street from the beach.

We went in, ordered our ice creams, then walked over to the beach. We walked along the shore, continuing our previous conversation as the sun slowly started to go down.

By the time we were done eating, we were far away from where people would usually go to hang out. 

"So what now?" I asked Ted.

"I don't know, I didn't plan this far," he nervously chuckled.

I let go of his hand and walked over to the water, taking of my shoes and socks, then threw them where they wouldn't get wet. I turned around to see Ted standing where I left him.

"Come on!" I motioned him over with my hand. He looked confused but obeyed, taking his shoes off as well.

It was now completely black outside, but the moons reflection was bright enough so we could see.

I took off my shirt and threw it by my shoes. I started taking off my pants as Ted just stared at me wide eyed.

When I was down to just my underwear, I walked into the water.
Once it got up to my chest I turned around to look at ted, who was still staring at me.

"Are you coming?" I laughed at him.

"Y-yeah," he hurriedly threw off his clothes, nearly tripping over his pants, until he was just in boxers. He ran into the water over excitedly.

I splashed him as soon as he made it over to me and quickly swam away. He came after me, splashing back with an extremely determined face.

Our small war went on for a few more minutes until I gave in.

"Okay okay, you win," I swam back over to where I could stand, Ted doing the same.

"You knew I would," he said with a cocky grin, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Shut up," I laughed, wrapping my arms loosely around his neck.

"Only if you make me," his grin turned to a cocky smirk.

That being said, I got on my toes and slowly kissed his lips. He instantly kissed back. After a few seconds, we separated our lips desperately needing to breathe.

Ted pulled me up so I could wrap my legs around his waist. He had placed one hand on my waist and the other on my butt, me placing my arms back around his neck as we continued to make out.

About a minute into it, Ted moved his hand from my waist to my right breast, squeezing it. I quickly smacked his hand and broke the kiss, getting off of him.

"What?" he laughed.

I just smiled at him and walked out of the water. He just stood where he was, watching me as I got dressed.

"It's getting late, don't you think?"I asked, grabbing his clothes, and started running. I heard the sound of splashing as he hurried out of the water.

I knew he'd catch up to me eventually, so I ran as fast as I could, gripping onto my shoes and flowers from earlier.

We were running for at least a minute or two, then as I predicted, he caught up. He grabbed me from behind, picking me up and spinning me around once. I screamed, then laughed breathlessly when he put me down.

He just laughed and got dressed, "nice try Y/n."

By the time I regulated my breathing, he was dressed.

"It really is getting late," he stated, looking down at his watch, then grabbed my hand, "I'll walk you home."

Ted walked me to my door and gave me a short but passionate kiss, "goodnight Y/n." He smiled and started to walk away.

"Ted?" I asked hesitantly. He looked back at me.

"W-what does this make us?" I stuttered, trying to find the right words.

He walked over to me, smiling.

"I kinda assumed we're together now." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Good," I hugged him tightly, "goodnight Ted."

He kissed my forehead and left, leaving my heart beating a million miles an hour.
