Word Count: 2395A/N - I definitely got carried away with this. It was suppose to be fluff, but ended up being smut. Just a fair warning.
'Ding!' My phone quickly sounded, notifying me that I had a text. I reached a hand out from under the blankets that were currently protecting me from the ongoing storm. I patted around my nightstand, quickly retracting my arm back into my false comfort once I found the phone.
'Hey I heard thunder, you okay?' My best friend Ricky's name read above the text.
'Pff yeah. Why wouldn't I be??' I shakily typed the words.
'You suck at lying even through text. You're under your blankets again, aren't ya?' he responded within seconds.
'Well excuse me for trying to show a little dignity. And maybe, what's it to you?'
I could see that he'd read the message, but he wasn't responding. Great, he's laughing at me, maybe he was struck by lighting. That's not possible. Is it?
I wrapped my blanket around my body and walked into the hallway.
'Ricky??? You there?' I frowned, hitting send. It's been five minutes since he responded. He usually answered me in less than one.
I started to walk slowly towards the kitchen, literally jumping at the sudden flash of light that filled the room. My heart beat sped up as a loud rumble followed closely behind the lightning.
I finally made it to the kitchen, standing at the counter with a newly opened bottle of water. I was taking deep breathes, trying to calm down.
'Ding!' My phone sounded, causing me to flinch. Please be Ricky.
'Hey honey! I'm so sorry, we won't be back tonight. It's flooding bad down here, we can't get out until it calms down. Make sure you keep the doors locked! No one in or out!' The word 'dad' read above this text. My parents had left for a business trip the night before, a state away.
My dad owns a bike shop in town, it's actually how Ricky and I met. I was working the cash register because my dad had to run somewhere for a bike part.
Ricky underestimated my knowledge, which I gladly proved wrong. Normally I'd ignore someone like that, but there was something about him that I couldn't pull myself away from. Not to mention how unbelievably attractive he is.
After him testing me with questions, we started with small talk. Since then we've been inseparable.
I walked back out to the living room, looking out the window, nearly in tears due to fear.
'Thud! Thud!' Someone banged on the front door causing me to jump a second time tonight. Who was here, especially at this time? It's almost midnight.
I slowly opened the door, peaking through the crack. I instantly threw it open after seeing who the tall figure was.
"Ricky!" I nearly leaped into his arms out of excitement.
"Oh! You're soaking wet! Did you walk here?!"
He chuckled lightly, stepping inside and locking the door back, "no dumbass, I rode my bike." Usually I'd get mad at someone insulting me, but at this point it was a regular thing. I mean I've called him worse.
"Oh, well take off your clothes, you're gonna freeze." I walked back over towards the window, picking up the water bottle I just now noticed I had dropped.
"Don't have to tell me twice" Ricky stated, amusement filling his tone.
I turned around to see a shirtless and shoeless Ricky pulling his pants off over his ankles.
