"It's pathetic Petey, you're such a wuss! Why would she say yes?" I heard Gary nearly in tears, laughing as I entered the boys dorm.

"What's pathetic?" The two jumped at the sound of my voice, more so Petey than Gary.

"Nothing..." Petey sounded defeated but glared at Gary as if saying 'don't say a thing."

"C'mon I wanna know" I sat down on the empty spot of the couch by Petey, staring at the boy, waiting for an answer.

"Peter here has this hopeless crush you see," Petey glared holes into Gary, "relax friend." Gary shot a threatening glance before continuing, "and wanted to ask this girl to be his Valentine." He mockingly said Valentine.

"Oh shut up Gary," I scowled at the sociopath, "that's not pathetic, it's cute."

Petey looked up at me hopefully but didn't say anything.

"Well... Who's the lucky gal?" I grinned, nudging his shoulder. Deep down I was actually upset that he had eyes for someone but me...

"N-no one" he looked away.

"Come on Petey, tell her" Gary nudged him this time, but like ten times harder.

"Cut it out Gary!" He defended weakly.

I hugged his arm lightly, "you can tell me Petey. What harm can it do? Don't you trust me?" I pouted playfully.

"No... I mean yes. I trust you but..." He trailed off with a frown.

"As I said. Wuss" Gary snickered.

"Shut the fuck up Gary! At least Petey has a heart. That makes him the better person here, so fuck off." I hissed.

A small smile covered Peteys face and Gary just huffed, "whatever. I'm not sitting around to hear anymore pathetic losers whine. I've got better things to do."

Gary hurried off to, more than likely, Jimmys room.

"Thanks Y/n. You're such a nice person. That's rare around here..." Petey spoke softly.

"No problem Petey. If anyone deserves to be treated kindly, it's you" I squeezed his arm, which I still had a hold on. "I understand if you don't want to tell me... But just ask her. I'm sure she'll say yes" I pulled away and smiled at him sweetly.

He hesitantly looked at me, "you really think so?"

I smiled once more, why would she say no? He's great...

"Of course." I smiled reassuringly.

Everything was quiet for a good twenty seconds before he finally spoke up, "it's you..."

He turned his head away as if expecting me to laugh or shout at him.

I didn't say anything. I sat there, shocked, before wrapping my arms around him and kissing his cheek.

He turned to hug me back properly, his face blood red.

"I like you too Petey..."

"You do?" He sounded shocked.

"Of course I do! Why wouldnt I?" I pulled back, looking into his eyes.

His face got more red as he looked away, "well, I-I'm kind of a dork..."

I turned his head to face me, "no you're not..." I whispered, slowly leaning in, placing my lips to his. After a few seconds he kissed back slowly and cautiously rested his hands on my hips. It was a sweet kiss, until an obnoxious laugh sounded through the room.

"Femme boys balls finally dropped! Hey Jimmy! You gotta-" he was cut off by Jimmy grabbing his arm and dragging him away.

I smiled sweetly and mouthed a 'thank you' to him. He just nodded and dragged Gary away as he panted between bursts of laughter.

"I, uh... So you'll be my valentine?" Petey rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Of course" I grinned, kissing his cheek again.

He smiled cheekily and spoke softly, "this is the first year I've had a valentine..."
