Chapter 21: Slowly Unfolding Reality. . .

(Leo's POV)

"Where is she?..." I asked Nate dahil alam kong hindi ako sasagutin ni Nath sa tingin pa lang niya sa akin.

"Hindi siya lumalabas ng kwarto niya..." Inis akong napahilamos sa mukha ko.

"You gotta be kidding me..." sa sobrang bilis ng pangyayari ay bigla na lang akong napahiga sa sahig.

"You gotta be kidding me? really? Cross! Ikaw ang may kasalanan kung bakit nagkukulong si Lily sa kwarto niya!" I slowly got up and I stared at Nath intently nang lumapit si Nate kay Nath para pigilan siya.

"It was Azi that was lying beside me!!" nanlalaki ang mga mata nila nang matapos nilang marinig ang sinabi ko.

"A-azi?...your dead sister?...b-but...how?..." I shrugged my shoulders.

"She's not explaining anything to me yet..now If you excuse me..." nilagpasan ko silang dalawa at nagmadali akong pumunta sa kwarto ni Lily. I stopped in front of her door then I knocked.

"Lily?...It's me...let me in..I will explain..." I was about to knock again ng bumukas ang pinto and it breaks my heart to pieces nang makita ko ang kalagayan niya ngayon. Her eyes are red probably from crying, even her nose and her puff red cheeks.

"Lily..." I widely opened the door and entered her room then I closed the door behind me and I locked it. I quickly gave her a tight hug.

"Please...let me explain..." I was waiting for her to respond until she hugged me back and buried her face into my chest. I carried her bridal style to lie her down in her bed and cuddle up with her.

"The girl...The girl that you saw was my long dead sister.." and again no response from her. I sighed.

"Lily, I was just taking a break sa lahat ng mga natanggap kong impormasyon sa mga elders. Sa tingin ko mawawalan na naman ako ng oras para sayo. Lily, please try to understand...Ang dami ko pang hindi nareresolbang mga problema. Kasama na ang mga kapatid ko. Si Azi pati na rin si Leon." She clutches on my shirt as she heave out a heavy sigh

"I know your mad..very mad...I can sense it. Lily, I'm not doing this for myself. I'm doing this for you...for everyone...para sa ikabubuti ng lahat." I gently caress her hair at naramdaman ko na lang ang pagluwag ng kapit niya sa damit ko. She fell asleep.

"Sleep well..." I sighed.

(Alexis' POV)

"I hope she will be fine...Malapit na rin ang birthday niya, 2 weeks from now she'll be celebrating her birthday..." tumango naman sila Nate at Nath.

"..Let's just hope na maging maayos ang paguusap ng dalawa..By the way, nasaan si Luke?.." we just shrugged our shoulders well except for Nate who seems to know where Luke is.

"Meeting..." napa-iling ng ulo si Francis.

"Heir...must be hard..." the room was filled with silence nang makita namin si Cross na papalapit. Agad kaming napatayo at tinanong kung ano ang nangyari.

"How is she?.." he shook his head.

"She's still mad but..I explained everything to her and hopefully she accept it and forgive me...she fell asleep while we were talking...she must be really tired.." Tumingin si Cross sa cellphone niya and he sighed.

"I gotta go, marami pa akong kailangang tapusin..For now, please take care of her for me... and tatawagan ko kayo, we have to talk about something important.." tumango na lang kami at umalis na si Cross.
