Chapter 26: Clueless Until. . .

(Leo's POV)

After a week, I can now freely move around the mansion. My wounds are completely healed and in that previous week, we started looking for the missing Princess. We are still unsure on who the Princess is but we do have one person in mind. Francis said that the ring lits up when Azaria visited me for the first time while I'm recovering. I give a thought about it, that was the second time it happened. The first time was when I got the ring from Lilac, the ring lit up as Azaria approached me that day.

It can be Azaria...She is not a real Pureblood Vampire but the blood of the Coleman runs through her veins. She was once a human. My Parents turned her and adopted her when she was a baby. I remember that day. She was found at our doorstep. She was sick and could barely survive. My Mother pleaded my Father to adopt her and turn her so they can save her precious life.

After that event, she was turned and became a vampire. A half human half vampire. We treated her like she was our own little baby, a princess and a sister. As she grows up, my parents decided to send Azaria to my Grandparents protection to keep her safe. But then, a news just came to us that she was captured by hunters and we never heard about her again. That we conclude that she is dead.

After her visit, she never return. My Grandparents says she was out of the country to visit the other clans. It was supposed to be my job but since she wanted to help I let her. Maybe, she is the Princess. And maybe, she was left on our doorstep by the servant who died.

This week, It is almost time for the Blood Moon to appear and almost time for her birthday celebration. Hindi siya nagpaparamdam, no calls or text message from her. I tried to call her using my mind but then it seems like there were a force stopping me from reaching her.

"Leo?" napatingin ako kay Francis na nakatayo sa harapan ko.

"You're spacing out." Sabi nito, isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa sofa at mariin na pinikit ang mga mata ko.

"We still need to confirm it Francis, kailangan nating sundan si Azaria." Naramdaman ko ang pag-galaw ni Francis, he took a seat in front of me.

"Shouldn't we wait?" dinig kong tanong ni Francis. Kapag naghintay pa kami baka maunahan kami ng kapatid ko. Ngayon at alam na namin na may warlock siya at nakipagkasundo siya sa mga Vampire Hunters ay mas kailangan pa naming bilisan ang pagkilos namin.

"No, We shouldn't. We should hurry bago pa may mangyari na hindi aayon sa atin." I opened my eyes to see Francis in a deep thought. I tried to read his mind and it seems he is worrying over Alexis.

"Francis..." tawag ko sa kanya para makuha ang kanyang atensyon. Tumingin naman ito sa akin at malalim na tinignan ko siya sa kanyang mga mata. I sighed before I speak.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this, Nawawalan ka na ng time kay Alexis." Napayuko naman ito at muling tumingin sa akin.

"It's nothing. It's an honor for me to serve you, King." Umiling ako. Tumayo ako at lumapit sa kanya. I tapped him on his shoulder.

"Don't. Don't treat me like I'm not your friend. The four of you has always been with me and all of you deserve better. You should take a break, ipapatawag na lang kita kapag aalis na tayo. No buts. Just go. She's waiting." Tumayo ito at ngumiti sa akin. I gave him a hug, don't get me wrong it's a brotherly hug. Yumuko siya at nagpasalamat bago tuluyang nilisan ang kwarto ko.

(Lily's POV)

"Please! Let me out!!!" I bawl at the locked door hoping that someone will open it up for me. It's been a week since they locked me up here in the basement. It was all planned. They're going to use me to lure the vampires in this horrible den of monsters...How could they do this to me? I treat them like my real family and so are they...why are they doing this to me?
