Cute when angry

-Liz's pov-

I walked into the living room, smiling down at my little babies as they rolled around each other, Bella the poor girl was being smooshed by May, but she didn't seem to mind much. Feeling a hand on my waist I grinned as I felt Red kiss my neck,

" Say, don't you find Ellie kinda adorable when she is angry? Not in the creepy way, just kinda how you were when you got mad when you were pregnant. It's like the slightest thing sets her off and she is either yelling, crying or both."

That had me laughing, it was like Red still didn't understand that when a woman is pregnant her emotions are the most scary thing on earth. I just felt bad for Abe, being the one to handle her mood swings when no one else was here. But my babies seemed to calm her down enough. Walking over to the couch I couldn't help but laugh out loud as both of them popped up, grabbing onto the side of the playpen and started to make babbling noises. They were growing so fast and it was all due to the fact that they were part demon.

" How long do you think it will be before we are uncle and aunt to the lovely little mini Ellie and Abe?"

Red shrugged, flopping onto the floor and tipping the play pen so that the babies could crawl out.

" I guess we just have to wait for it. I mean they refuse to feel for the gender, but I can tell what it is. But I'm not going to tell you!"
I said, kicking him with my foot as May climbed onto his face. But Bella had other ideas. She grabbed onto her father's tail and pulled, making him shoot up with a yelp. He hated his tail being touched, but the little baby didn't know any better. Two babies and with another on its way, it was going to be a full house.

-Ellie-

The worst thing about being pregnant and taking a two hour nap is when you woke up you need to pee. Like, the instant you know you are awake you need to almost teleport to the bathroom. Which is damn near what I did when I woke up. When I was done I headed back to the bedroom, wanting to put on some shoes so I could go get what I wanted to eat. Last time I sent Liz to get something she ended up getting the wrong thing and made me cry. I had since desided to never let anyone go out when I was craving something and just leave. No explanations anymore or I would never hear the end of it. So as I attempted to lean over I realized, it was damn near impossible so I did the only thing that made sense, I got pissed and slipped into my slip ons. I ignored Abe's laughter at me and turned to leave, grabbing my keys off the table near the door.

" Can't you just stay home? You could be giving birth any day now."

Shaking my head at him I pointed to my over sized stomach,

" Yeah, no. It was food and I want food. We have nothing we want in the house, so I go get the food we want. Stop laughing!"

He was chuckling and shaking his head.

" You are going to be the best mother. I swear our child better be like you."

Narrowing my eyes at him I placed a hand on my hip,

" What is that supposed to mean Sir?"

He held up his hands, still laughing at me,

" Nothing, just that I love your view of the world."

I snorted, turning and walking out the door, knowing that I was probably not going to be back for about an hour. As I climbed up the stairs I couldn't help but turn and send a mental image of me kissing him goodbye, no way was I walking back down the stairs. Those things scare me cause I couldn't see my feet.

" Love you too Ellie."

I nodded, knowing that he couldn't see me. As I was walking through the kitchen I felt the baby kick, hard. It kinda hurt but I wasn't going to think much about it. It wasn't like it could break a rib or anything. Getting into the car I had to push the seat back so far my feet had a bit of trouble reaching the pedals. Then I was off, slipping into my human form as I did, knowing I probably looked like a gosh darn mess, but I didn't care. I was going to get my food.

-Abe's pov-

I sighed as I watched her pull out of the driveway, her face was twisted into a smile. She knew I was watching her, but she didn't even look at me. That woman was going to be the death of me.

" She looked like she was on the warpath."

Liz said, walking over to me and placing a hand on my shoulder. I nodded, turning and giving her a smile,

" She is the best thing to have ever happen to me. Liz...I want to ask her to marry me...will you help me pick a ring?"

It took a second for that to register in her mind but when she started to scream I knew that was a yes. Unfortunately Red didn't get the memo and he came racing in to see what was the matter.

" LIZ WHAT'S THE MATTER? SEE A SPIDER I HATE THOSE THINGS!"

I laughed, shaking my head.

" No, I just asked Liz to help me propose to Eleanor. Wanna help?"

Then the most unexpected thing then happened, Red squealed like a girl, or when a guy lands on the pipeline wrong. It was almost amusing,

" How are you going to ask Abe?"

Red asked me, his eyes looked like they would soak up any answer, but I didn't how.

" That's the problem, I don't know when or how I should do so."

That got a snicker out of Red, but Liz patted my shoulder,

" Abe, that;s perfectly okay, It took Red forever to ask me. And I mean it was a super private ceremony, but it was nice. Just take your time."

I nodded, then the phone started to ring, we all glanced at it. It was either the B.P.R.D.or Eleanor. I walked over to it and answered,

" Hello?"

" Is this the Husband of Eleanor Brooming?"

Fear filled me, who was calling and why?

" Yes it is, may I ask who is speaking."

" This is the hospital calling, your wife was shot at the store picking up some pickles, ice cream and...limburger. We had trouble stopping the bleeding, but we were able to save both the mother and the baby girl. She was a healthy seven pounds and six ounces. Oh, and I'm to inform you that the B.P.R.D took care of the billings and said if we were to speak of this outside of this phone call and when you come to collect your family then we will be able to talk then."

Then he hung up, I had a daughter...a baby girl. I looked at Red and Liz,

" I have a baby girl...We need to leave now. Ellie got shot!"

I then ran out of the house, then into the car. Hang on girls, Daddy is coming!
