Hellboy OC Insert

Hey!

He pulled me into his arms, kissing my forehead.

" Twins."

I froze, no fucking way. There was no way...hell no. I sucked in a shaky breath, pushing away Abe.. How did this happen? Placing a hand over my stomach I could feel their little hearts, how could I have not noticed? I felt a hand on my shoulder but ignored it. I was pregnant, with two children this time. How long have I been this way and not known? Walking out of Rose's room I headed down the hall into Reds and Liz's room, grabbing my sister in law by the hand and dragged her into the bathroom. She took one look at me and she reached down into the sink, pulling out a test, shaking my head I sat on the edge of the tub.

" Ellie this isn't a bad thing, We have room."

I shook my head, she wasn't seeing the point.

" It's not that, i'm just not ready. Abe and I haven't been seeing eye to eye for a while and what if he sees this as a way to trap him? I don't want to make him feel like I did this on purpose."

Liz snorted and whacked the back of my head.

" Eleanor Broom, you are dumber than a doornail sometimes. He will never think that of you. He is probably happier than anything that his family is growing. That is what he wanted for the longest time. Besides couples fight, I am sure this is not your first or your last.'

I nodded, covering my face with my hands,

" Okay.. but tell me this. Do you think i will get as big as you did when you had the twins?"

That got her to laugh and smack my arm.

" Good luck."

-time skip a week-

I sat there glaring at Red, he had gotten out a beer and was sitting on the counter, holding Rose in one hand, beer in the other. The smell of the stuff was getting to me and I was about to drop kick him into the other room.

" Red, I will kindly ask you once more. Get. Rid. Of. The. Damn. Beer!"

I could feel his amusement radiate off of him in waves,

" My house too, but don't worry. It's the last one till you pop."

Rose jumped down from from his arm and ran over to me, placing a hand on my stomach,

" They are getting strong Mama, be careful."

She looked worried but I ignored it. I needed to drop kick my brother. Walking over to him whapped him on the back of the head. He just laughed which after a moment I did as well. He always made things look bad but them a moment later okay. Resting my head on his shoulder I let out a sigh,

" I want to eat everything in the house and then fight everyone."

That got him to snort,

" Tell Abe that, I'm sure he will be of some help to that rage."

Pulling away I smacked his arm and narrowed my eyes.

" Behave you over sized ape."

He rolled his eyes and started to walk away, leaving me with the smell of beer and a worried toddler. I picked Rose up and set her on my hip, then walked down to Our room where Abe was swimming around in his tank. Listening to the tape recording of a book. Rose took off her shirt to reveal a swim top and her shorts were swim shorts. So she was able to just hop in the water whenever she wanted. Like her father she dried out if she isn't in contact with water after a while. So she ran right up the steps and dived into the water, quickly swimming down to grab onto her father. Her silver hair was trailing behind her, almost like a beautiful silver streak through the water. Abe gave her a hug and then she started to swim laps about the pool. I took a while to change, wanting to see how much my stomach already stuck out. It was not much but to me it was like I was sticking out a few feet. They better be more like Abe than me. Twins are evil to each other, Red and I caused hell for Father. Slowly walking up the steps and sitting on the edge of the tank I watched my family. It wasn't till Rose fell asleep in the corner of the tank did Abe come up to the surface. Holding Rose in his arms, he set her on the small platform that had a few blankets for when she did fall asleep and kissed her forehead.

" You better be this nice to the others when they pop out of me."

I mumbled, leaning over and tucking a strand of damp hair out of her face. Then I was being pulled into the water,

" Eleanor, I would think of nothing else. These are my children, apart of me and apart of you. They will be my world."

I smiled, then leaned a bit forward, hoping that he would kiss me. He did. His lips were soft as we sunk below the water. A smile creeped across my face as I pulled away. His eyes were wide as he knew something was up. I was then on the other side of the tank, sending little bubbles over at him. His eyebrows shot up and he was soon chasing me around the tank. It was fun until a sharp pain pierced my side. I clutched it as I tried not to scream in pain. Arms wrapped around me as I tried to tell him what's wrong, but I just couldn't.

" RED! LIZ!"

Abe shouted, scaring Rose awake. She took one look at me and started to cry, but I couldn't reach out to her. To hold her to me and tell it's okay. That i'll be okay. The pain increased and I let out a moan. Clutching my stomach, it wasn't until the door was thrown open did the pain get so bad that my body couldn't take it, and I blacked out. 

A/N: Hey I'm back! I am so sorry I haven't updated in forever.  Between being a senior this year, marching band and my Boyfriend being in the hospital I have had a stressful few months. But hopefully I will be able to update more often. I do hope that ya'll will forgive me and not hate me. I hope to see you in the next chapter! ~Lanie
