It was Kierans birthday and it was 5 o'clock, time to prep for his party.
"He honestly is getting on my nerves. Hes all sweet one day and then doesn't go to school and ignores my texts."
"Well...if he dosen't show up to this party then you better worry. This is lakewood remember."
"Yeah...but we got worried the other day and all they did was fight people and go to jail."
Emma pointed out.
"Maybe your boyfriend is in a ditch"
Eli said is a creepy tone.
"I already hate you."
Natalie threw a tissue box at him.
"Eli don't say that."
"Alright...alright."
He started to hang up some happy birthday sighs.
"Hey Emma can you help me."
Eli asks her.
The door bell rings and Natalie stands up.
"I'll get that."
Natalie leaves the room and opens the front door. She looks to the left and then the right and there's nobody there. She looks down and sees a bottle of liquid.
She picks it up and sees a letter under it. She picks both of them up and walks inside.
"Hey guys...this was on the..."
Eli was still putting things up and Emma was biting her nail. She grabs a rack of plastic cups and buts it behind her back.
"Hey Eli...could you get some plastic cups from the car."
"Yeah no problem."
As he left, Emma pulled out the plastic cups from behind her back and Natalie looked at her with a strange look.
"Why did you do that?"
"We were putting that up and I fell so he caught me and...I think he was gonna kiss me."
"Right...so? Did it happen."
"No."
"Did you want it to happen?"
"Nat...I'm with Kieran."
"Okay thats not answering my question and why are you telling me this then?"
"I don't know...if didn't mean anything obviously."
"If It didn't mean anything why are you telling me about it?"
"I'm not sure."
"Hey Emma. They werent-"
Eli walked in.
"Oh yeah I found them."
Natalie opened the letter and it was a card.
"Wow...whoever sent that knows their tequila."
Eli said.
"Why?"
Emma took the bottle and put it next to the sink.
"That's extra añahjo, like super aged, super expensive. It's like three hundred bucks a pop."
Natalie read out what was in the card.
"A pricey birthday bottle from south of the border. Shots are on me. Jake."
Natalie sighed.
"Obviously it was Jake...That's one way to tell everyone you went to Mexico and didn't tell anyone."
She turned and threw the card out.
"Hes such an Ass! I need a drink. a strong one at that. Who's, uh bartending?"
"That would be me."
"Oh lovely...what's this."
Natalie picked up a cup.
"Oh its mine, it's vodka and-"
"I'll take it."
Natalie sipped the drink.
...
Music was blaring and the guests arrived.
Stavo started to walk around with a plate of shots.
"Whats this."
Natalie asked.
"Shots. For everyone."
"Obviously. Don't tell me it's that bottle of tequila."
"Yup. Eli said we should all do one when Kieran walks in."
Natalie nods, grabbing a shot.
Natalie checks her phone and goes to the side.
-where the hell are you. You can't deliver a bottle of tequila and not show.
He didn't respond.
She sighs.
"YO! Kieran alert! Coming up the driveway!"
Audrey yells.
Will waved at Natalie to come over so she did.
People turn the lights and music off and everyone waits for Kierans arrival.
The door bell rings and Emmas calls.
"COME IN!"
Kieran walks in and looks.
"SURPRISE!"
People yelled happy birthday and cheered aswell.
The lights turn on and everyone takes a shot of tequila.
"That tasted werid as hell."
Natalie said to Audrey and Will.
"Why'd you invite Stavo?"
"Okay. He isn't all that bad."
Noah walked up to them.
"Hey, that tequila tasted werid right?"
"Siblings think the same. That's what she just said."
Will pointed at Natalie.
Zoe came walking to them to.
"It smelt pretty bad too."
"Well. God dosent even know what it is if it's from Jake."
Audrey and Will looked at her best friend and questioned.
Out of nowhere people started sweating, vomiting and screaming.
Emma and Natalie sat on the coach, Natalie had a cooking pot under her chin.
"Hey you guys okay."
Audrey asked. Will leaned himself against the wall, breathing loudly.
"Hell no. I feel like I did when I had food poisoning for a week. Isn't good."
Natalie finished her sentence and vomited into the pot.
"I feel the same as her."
"Same here..."
Will added.
"Does tequila go bad?"
Emma says to Audrey.
"I think we need to get everyone to the-"
Audrey gagged.
Emma and Natalie stared at Audrey as she put her hand over her mouth.
She ran out and vomited on the grass outside.
