Chapter 7: Missing persons report?

Natalie finished the meeting and there were 10 of them.
The verdict would have to soon pick which 5 would compete at the lakewood carnival.
Natalie called Emma.
She was getting worried why Will and Jake weren't at school and not answering there texts.
Natalie decided to go to the police.

"Hi...I would like to file two missing person reports."
"Okay have a seat."
Natalie turned and saw a row of seats, Natalie sat and noticed Stavo was 2 seats away.
Natalie sat there shaking her leg up and down, which showed the sign of her being worried.
Stavo stared at her.
"What are you doing?"
Natalie looked at him.
"Homework."
"Right so staring at me is homework now?"
He nodded with a smirk.
"And your apparently doing homework in a police station. That's odd."
"My dad makes me come here after school."
He sighs and looks back at Natalie.
"What are you doing?"
"Waiting for your dad so I can report my wayward...boyfriend and his best friend missing."
"You're talking about Jake Fitzgerald? Number seven. I know all you lakewood seveners."
"You numbered us? What the hell?"
"Noah Foster, coined the phrase I just added the ranking."
"My brother...okay so...what number am I?"
"I'd go as high as a five."
"What? Are you kidding me?"
She scoffs.
"I'm at least least a four."
"Nope. Noah's number four."
"Oh you've got to be kidding. My brother is beating me?"
"He has the investigative force."
He pulls out his phone and texts.
"I was stabbed multiple times and I got kidnapped and held for 4 months by the new killer."
"Yeah...I know. Thought it would have had a bigger impact."
"What is that suppose to mean?"
"The sheriff will see you know."
Natalie stands up.
"We will continue this another time."
and she walks into the sheriffs office.

"Natalie Foster. What do you need me for."
"I'm here for missing persons reposts. Will Belmont and Jake Fitzgerald."
"Oh you didn't hear?"
"Hear what?"
"They are in jail Natalie. They got in a fight this morning."
"Your kidding. Are they here?"
"Yes. Jake didn't want you to know. He doesn't want to see you."
"Please Acosta."
"Alright."
"Thank you."
Natalie followed Acosta and texted Emma to get here as fast as she could.
Natalie glanced at Stavo and then walked to the Jail room.
"Jake..."
He and Will were sitting on the bed of the prison room. He got up and Natalie looked at his face.
He had a cut on his lip and a bruise under his left eye, he looked tired too.
"Nat...I told you not to tell her!"
"She gave me no choice. Have fun."
He left as Natalie gave both of them the death stare.
"You better start talking now."
"Okay...we got in a fight this morning walking to school. The Saber cats Tom's team, attacked us."
Will said, Natalie saw his jaw was bruised and his head was cut open.
Natalie sighed.
"So this wasn't your fault...you didn't fight them till they started hurting you right?"
Wills face darkened.
"Right Jake?"
Jake licked his lips and rolled his eyes alittle.
"You hit them first didn't you. I cant believe it...who was it."
"Dane...Tom's bestfriend."
"Why...you could of just walked away."
"I'm sorry."
"This is the first thing you do when we start dating...how can I date someone who fights people. Definitely ones who lost there best friend."
"Natalie please."
"I just...I need to think. By the way Jake your Emmas partner in class and Will your Sarahs."
Natalie was about to leave when Jake stopped her by saying
"Who's your partner."
She looked back at him.
"Stavo..."
Jake frowned.
"I know your parents will bail you out by tonight so see ya tomorrow."
"Please Natalie! Babe!"
Natalie held back the tears and walked out and saw Stavo with his father packing up to leave.
"Hey Natalie. You got a ride?"
Stavo asked
"Um no...I'll walk."
Acosta looked and smirked.
"You know it's raining right."
"Yeah. I'll probably stay here and wait. Emmas coming so."
She lifted her phone and they both nodded.
"See ya tomorrow Number five."
Stavo smiled.
Natalie couldn't keep herself from smiling and so she did. She sat down and waited for Emma to arrive.
