It's almost been a week since Zane and I had that little... talk. I haven't let him come over to see Lilac once and Laurance is really starting to get annoyed, but Lilac hasn't really noticed since she's so busy with school.

"C'mon, just talk to him!"

"I won't." I replied.

"I know he said some hurtful and annoying things, but that's just the way Zane is!"

"It's not the way he is!" I argued.

"Yes it is. Why are you denying it?"

"Because you don't know him like I do!"

"Which is why you should make up with him!"

"Because I know him better than anyone I should make up with him?"

"Yes!"

"Too bad! I'm not going to talk to him unless he apologizes!"

"Well it's probably really hard for him! Especially when you put some kind of anti-Zane shield around out house."

"Well I don't want him in here."

"Here's what were going to do. You're going to take down the shield, and I'm going to invite Zane, Garroth and Vylad over and you four are going to talk."

"Why are Garroth and Zane coming?"

"Because."

"Wow. Thanks," I rolled my eyes. He kissed my temple.

"This'll work. Trust me."

"It's not."

"Yes it is!" He glared.

"No."

"Go get changed and take the shield down." I sighed and waved my hand then stomped upstairs like a child. I grumbled curse words and I put on a sweater and some jeans and brushed out my hair. I walked back downstairs to see my brothers sitting in the living room.

I turned around and tried to escape, but Laurance pulled me over and sat me down in the chair... then tied my wrists and ankles together. "Is this necessary?" I asked.

"Now you can't walk away." He smiled and kissed me then left the house. On his way out I cursed at him angrily.

"What's this all about?" Vylad asked. I sighed and glared at Zane.

"(Y/N) calm down," Garroth instructed.

"I am calm."

"Your hair that's on fire says otherwise," Zane rolled his eyes. I gritted my teeth and tried to get my restraints off.

"Why don't you help us understand what's happening," Vylad suggested.

"I'd rather not-" Zane started.

"He called Laurance an idiot, then he called me a killer." I grumbled, leaving out the part where he had told me that I didn't know pain.

"Zane! Why'd you say that!?" Vylad asked.

"Because! I don't know! I wasn't thinking!"

"Seems like you do that a lot!" I growled. I tried to get up, but Garroth pushed me back down.

"(Y/N)! Zane! Why don't you two just make up?" Garroth asked.

"How can I forgive him for saying what he said to me!?" I screamed angrily.

"You're going to have to see past what he said. He's still your brother!" Vylad yelled.

"The Zane I knew would never say those things he said!!!"

"You weren't any better!" Zane yelled, now Vylad was holding him back.

"Yeah? Zane why don't you tell them what I said? What did I say that was so bad?" I sneered. He stayed silent and I whipped my head to Garroth and Vylad. "What. Did. I. Say?"

"(Y/N)..." Vylad mumbled lowly, standing. I watched him carefully.

"What!?"

"Calm down."

"I am calm, just upset." I replied and stared at Zane. "Are you going to tell them the other thing I left out?" I cocked my head sideways.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he crossed his arms and stuck him head up.

"GRAH!!!" I screamed and lunged forward, both Garroth and Vylad had to hold me back. "TELL THEM ZANE!!!"

"I'm sorry!" He cried. "I should have thought about what I said! You'd know what hurt is more than anyone I know. You're not a killer you're not anything, but what you make yourself!" He yelled, tears formed in his eye.

I let out a sigh and slumped into the chair. My vision was blurry. Vylad and Garroth help me sit up straight. "What the hell is that?" Garroth asked me.

"What?" I asked, confused. Vylad handed me his phone and I looked at myself through the camera. I looked exactly the same. I don't understand. "What am I looking at exactly?" I looked up at Garroth.

"Look again, but smile with your teeth."

"What?"

"Just try it," Vylad urged. I shook my head and widened my eyes for a second before turning. Back to the phone. I smiled and immediately covered my mouth.

"What the hell?" I mumbled.

"What are they?" Zane asked. I checked again and saw my canines had grown sharper and longer and the edges were covered with blood. I closed my eyes and slumped in the chair again.

"(Y/N)? What is wrong?" Vylad asked. I opened my eyes and they all jumped back.

"Are my eyes red?" I asked.

"Uh... more of a heavy black, with a hint of red," Garroth shook his hand. I raised my eyebrows.

"Garroth, this isn't the time to be making jokes!" I snarled, my voice becoming more deep and demonic.

"What are we supposed to do!?" Zane yelled.

"Travis. Or Lucinda!" I growled as pain started to rise in my chest. I tried to stand up, also realizing that I had broke the restraints. I managed to stand, but when I friend to walk I toppled over. "Hurry," I growled.

"Zane stay here!" Garroth instructed. "Vylad go get someone I'm gonna get Travis!" They ran off and Zane knelt down next to me.

"Is this because of me!?" He asked worrisome.

"No," I mumbled as cold sweat started to appear on my skin.

"What is it then?"

"My inner demon. Almost like one of those Anime's we watch huh?" I joked.

"Stop," he said and took a cloth and started to whip the sweat off of my face. I grunted in pain as I watched my skin at the tips of my fingers turn light grey.

"They better hurry!" I growled.
