"You were right. I can't believe that after all those conversations we had I didn't see it. I guess, I was being selfish. I am selfish. Aren't I?" She asked him.

She knew he wouldn't say she was. Aubrey knew this man tried to see the best in everyone. Maybe that's why she knew she would be given a second chance to do things right. To redeem herself.

"I don't think you're selfish. You just were torn about what you thought you felt and didn't. You needed last night to happen to open up your eyes." She nodded.

She understood what he had been telling her all along. It's that she didn't take into account his love for her. Even if he didn't live her, he was a voice of reason. Aubrey appreciated the times he took time to talk about it all. It was silly and not surprising how everything worked out in the end.

"Is it weird that it needed to happen for me to figure it all out? You seemed to see it all. Why couldn't I?" She looked at him playing with his curls. It was weird because she wasn't sure if she should or could. She continued seeing the dimples in his cheeks at the gesture.

"I can't say. We got it all sorted out. Are you ready? New beginnings starting today." He got up and extended his hand towards her.

"Yeah, will you ever forgive me? Forgive me for my stupidity and stubbornness?" She held his hand standing up.

"I thought I did." He smiled with his dimples showing. "You're all mine now. There won't be a moment where you'll second guess yourself. You won't be scared to realize there's an us. That's what I'm excited about. No holding back."

"Me too. And I'm sorry. I don't know how many times I'll apologize before feeling any better. Maybe I'll say it forever but..." He stopped her rant with a kiss.

"Stop. We'll get over it. I knew what I was getting myself into. Just don't think in the future I'll be so understanding. Cheating is serious business. It's my turn to do it." He joked which led Aubrey to smack his shoulder.

"I'm kidding. You've got quite the arm." He rubbed his shoulder. He only smiled letting her know he was joking. "So, how were things this morning?"

They walked hand in hand to the nearest coffee shop. Aubrey knew he wanted to know if she was truly alright. It was important for her to feel welcome when she went to visit the children. He wasn't sure if she would but she had the hope.

"I cooked breakfast. I said my goodbyes. It was tearfully painful but it went alright. Harry was relieved. I think he's going to have a great future with Selena. She's wonderful and he knows that. He's always known that." She nodded as if coming go that conclusion. It was clear that last night he had her in his mind. It wasn't Aubrey. Her decision made it simpler and less heartbreaking.

"I'm going to miss my babies." She said hopeful that one day in the near future she'd see them again. It was one thing that weighed on her after the goodbyes. Her heart was tearing up because of them.

"Do they know you're leaving?" He asked as they walked in the shop.

"I told them it would be a while before I came back to see them. I should've said to their face but I left it in a note for Harry. I didn't want to see their face of disappointment or see them upset with me. I know Ed would want me to bring him along and I can't."

Ashton didn't say anything. He understood that the Styles family had earned a special place in her heart. She ordered their drinks and pastries which she payed for. The two stop their conversation not wanting to be heard.

She looked at him. He felt her gaze. What more could he do beside look at her?

"I'm happy we're doing this. It's something I wouldn't do on my own. And it's a great thing to do. You'll take care of their health while I teach them English." She slightly changed the conversation to something lighter. He nodded in agreement.

It was truly a great thing. They both were doing something great here. But Ashton was happier that Aubrey had no doubts anymore. She was genuinely excited about it. He could tell by the way she talked about it, how her eyes lit up.

She hugged him and kissed his cheek. Handing him his tea and Danish. He was happy they were over the confused emotions, the want of her to give herself but the hesitation that was always there. Today she was giving herself freely to him without any trace of guilt or doubt.

"Ash? When the year's done. Can we come back and see them? It'll be great seeing them again."

"Yeah, I think you love them as if they were your own. I'm not going to control you or give you shit for that. I'm just your boyfriend." He ended casually.

"And I'm just your girlfriend. I don't want to do anything your uncomfortable with. I know I would be but just know that it's for the children nothing else." She assured him.

"I know. What I can't believe is that you think we'll last that long. You didn't use to see it that way." He hoped for a long future with her too. Now, both were starting to see it that way.

"I know but things change." She blushed in embarrassment. There would be a trace of remorse for not seeing what she had and wishing for something else.

"I know. We're starting the next chapter in our lives. The best part is were doing it together. Who knows what the future will bring but for now you're here. I'm here. I say we're two people who are ready to fall in love."

"The next chapter sounds great." She smiled and kissed him.

Aubrey was going somewhere that she was sure of. She had Ashton who gave her the little gentle push she needed to start accomplishing what she wanted to do. If she hadn't taken the job as the nanny, then she would've never met the people who changed her life. Each one differently but all in a special way earning a place in her heart.

Even Harry had a special place in her heart. As a nanny she learned many things. She grew up. Aubrey wondered if they noticed it. Did they see that she was growing and learning along with them? The person she was once learned to be free, about love, family, responsibility, and being a mother. Something she'll never regret. Those children were hers, and she theirs. Things will only be different moving forward but she wouldn't give up on the small family they created.

After all, she was their nanny. A nanny would always take care of her children. She could be called mommy, nanny or whatever they'd like as long as they knew she loved them with all her heart. That would never change. Even if she had her own kids in the future.
