Imagine Suho trying to get your attention when you're focused on a book. You turn from left to right and right to left as Suho tried to bother you from one side to the other. You give him a playful angry face as you put down the book.
"Do you love books or me more?" He asked.
"Books," you lied. You then stuck out your tongue and jumped on the bed to continue reading your book.
He lied down next to you and smiled as he slowly observed you for a full minute. Usually you'd finish about a page in the minute, but you couldn't read much because his stare distracted you, resulting in you rereading paragraphs again and again. You place the book down again and stared back at him. It became a staring contest that he ended losing.
"I have a better story for you," he said.
"Better than this book?" You asked.
"The best story there could be," he replied.
"Let's hear it then," you said not believing him.
He then got up quickly and ran to get his laptop.
"Once upon a time," he started.
You already were laughing because you couldn't take him seriously.
"There was a man.. No a boy," he continued.
You thought he had no idea what he was saying and that he was just making things up but you listened to the rest of the story.
"The boy was having a hard time with his life because of all the stress. Sometimes this boy felt pretty useless, and even insecure but one day he met this woman whom he disliked from the first sight. He soon found out that every time he talked bad about her, he had another reason to be in love with her. He was a boy, as I've said, but soon he became a man for the woman he loved. He eventually won her heart and they did everything together, bringing so much happiness to the man. The man felt like the happiest man to be alive because of her. Her hobbies became his, her favorite movies became his, and her happiness became his," he said.
He then showed you a video that he made. It was filled with all the pictures he took with you from oldest to newest. The story he told was referring to his story with you. He had his arms around you as you watched the video. You paused the video, and looked at him with watery eyes.
"When did you make this?" You asked.
"I update it every time we take a picture together so I can include all my feelings and thoughts within that day," he explained. "I want to write them down to show myself how happy you make me, and if ever I'm upset at you or if we get into a fight, I can always come back to this to remind myself how much you've helped through my dark times."
He wipes your tears away and kisses your cheeks. As you continue to watch, you hold a teddy bear that he gifted you as your first gift when he asked you out. You squeeze the bear tighter and tighter every time you feel like bursting into tears. As you kept on watching, you started laughing because you constantly paused the video to talk about the past event with more detail. They were sweet memories. From the pictures of when he first asked you out to when you were spending Valentines Day with him for the second time.
"Was I right?" He asked with a smile.
"About?" You asked.
"This being the best story," he said.
You laughed and nodded with a smile. You cuddled in his arms as he held you close.
"It's getting pretty late. Why don't you finish reading your book tomorrow in the morning?" He suggested.
"I think I want to read your 'book' again instead," you laughed.
He laughed too and hugged you a little tighter.
"This isn't your typical book, because books always end but my book won't have an ending because there will be no ending for you and I," he said as you cuddled in his arms.
