Imagine Sehun acting on set for an upcoming movie. Because they were still filming late at night for a specific scene, you went out to buy some coffee and hot chocolate for Sehun and for the rest of the crew. Along the way, you bought some snacks especially the ones that Sehun favored the most. You wanted to cheer him on with acting and to be there to support but when you got on set, everyone said that Sehun had left not too long ago to take one of the actress home since she was feeling sick. You decided to drive around the block to see if you could find Sehun. As you drove to the next block, you saw Sehun with the actress. She held onto Sehun's arm for support which made you feel jealous inside. You drove up to them and opened the window to call them out to get their attention. Sehun helped her get in the back of the car and he sat next to her to watch her. She started to sneeze here and there so Sehun took off his jacket to wrap around her. You kept driving with Sehun giving directions as you looked in the mirror once in a while to see what was going on in the back. You looked at the seat next to you and remembered about the hot chocolate and snacks you bought. When it was red light, you offered her a warm cup of hot chocolate to keep her warm. You had saved two cups of hot chocolate and one cup of coffee, thinking that the actress would prefer coffee instead of hot chocolate. After giving one hot chocolate away, there was only one cup of coffee and one cup of hot chocolate which was for Sehun. Because you knew Sehun disliked having coffee late at night, you decided to drink the coffee even though you hated it. Soon you dropped the actress off at her house, leaving you alone with Sehun. Sehun came to sit up in the front with you and you gave him hot chocolate while you took the coffee. You took a sip just for show but unexpectedly it was so bitter that you couldn't really stand it.
"You don't like coffee?" He asked. "I can switch with you if you'd like hot chocolate."
"It's fine. I saved one cup of hot chocolate just for you. I just didn't think it through that maybe she preferred hot chocolate over coffee," you said.
"And I'm fine with coffee anyways," you lied.
You took another sip for show again and smiled to hide away any signs of how you disliked the bitterness. Yet somehow Sehun figured out anyways. You went on driving him home in silence as you kept thinking about how Sehun gave her his jacket earlier in the night. He took your cup of coffee and gave you his hot chocolate when you were least expecting it.
"You clearly hate coffee," he said.
You frowned because it was too hard to outsmart him.
"And I noticed how you payed attention when I was being nice with that actress," he said breaking the silence but making the atmosphere awkward.
"I just wanted to see the actress you were working with and because she's so famous, I wanted to take a better look at her," you lied.
"Another question, it's so late right now, so why did you come to the set?" He asked. "You don't know anyone on set but me."
"I wanted to support your crew and especially you. Because it was late, I worried you would be cold or had no time to eat so I bought some snacks and hot drinks," you replied.
"And I wanted to see you," you mumbled.
You started thinking about how you shouldn't have went to look for him because even though you were close with him, he had other people he was happier with.
"You're so cute. If you wanted to meet up some times, you know you can just call whenever, right?" He smiled.
Just then, you got so nervous and almost ran through a red light until Sehun pointed it out. You pressed for the brakes immediately causing a rough stop. You then apologized to Sehun again and again. Then you turned to focus on the road, but you were still nervous. Noticing your hands shaking, Sehun reaches over to hold your hands. You turned to look at him smiling at you.
"I'm always going to be here for you," he says.
You smiled back at him yet still feeling nervous as your heart beat faster and faster. Soon you were at his house but he didn't get off the car yet.
"Thanks for always being here for me. And you know you're so silly. You didn't have to lie about wanting a better look at the actress because I've shown you pictures before. And to pretend to love coffee though you hate it so that you could give me the cup of hot chocolate.. you're too silly. And thanks for coming tonight to come support. You know, it would be a blessing to have you as my girlfriend," he said smiling.
He continued to smile to himself while thinking about all the little things you've done for him as he holds your hands.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
While still holding your hands, he looked at you and waited for an answer. You nodded with a smile and he takes your hands towards his lips and kisses them while smiling.
"I'm so happy," he said. "Ah it's getting late, so you should head home now. Be careful driving, okay? Call me when you get home so I know you're safe and so I can hear your voice."
You smiled and he gave another kiss on your hands before getting off the car.
"I'll make time for us to go somewhere tomorrow before I go to the set," he said while smiling.
You nodded and he waved good bye after saying good night.
