SALL (Death Note)

Chapter 2

The idea for SALL began when Lind L. Tailor was killed. Kokona had been peacefully watching TV, when suddenly L's message to Kira was shown.

"My name is Lind L. Tailor, widely known as L." The dark haired man had said, as Kokona sat on bed with a bag of chips and her laptop next to her. She had been doing homework, but this was much too important to miss.

"To the perpetrator of these serial murders, you have committed the most abominable act in history. I will catch the one behind it... Kira, at any cost." As L spoke these words, Kokona narrowed her eyes at him.

He continued; "Kira, I have pretty good idea of what you're trying to do and doing it. But what you're doing... is evil!"

At this Kokona angrily threw a pillow at her tv, and she stood up and began to yell.

"You're wrong L!" She yelled angrily, clenching her jaw. She knew very well that yelling at a TV wouldn't do anything, but she was too mad to care. "Kira is protecting us from criminals, why would you try to stop him?! You're the one whose -" Kokona abruptly stopped yelling, widening her eyes at the sight on the TV. L, dying of a heart attack on live TV. She felt the corner of her lips pulling into a grin, and sat back down on her bed. "That's what you get for defying Kira." She mumbled, sighing in relief as his body was dragged away.

"Unbelievable..." She quickly looked back up, hearing a clearly edited voice. Her eyes widened when she saw the "L" symbol on screen.

"I did that on the off chance that you would kill me..." Kokona watched, her jaw dropped open "So Kira, you can kill people without even being nearby. So it's true after all, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. But this was the only way you could have killed them, wasn't it?"

"Kira, listen to me. The person you killed was actually a prisoner sentenced to be executed today at this time. It was not me. He was a criminal imprisoned without any media attention, so naturally even you wouldn't know about him." L continued as Kokona's anger at him grew.

"But I, L, am real! So why don't you kill me?!" L demanded, and Kokona was standing again.

"Kill him Kira!" She yelled at no one, watching in suspension at the scene before her. "Kill him, he's trying to kill you!!!" She watched in frustration as L taunted Kira, telling him to go ahead and try to kill him. But for some reason, Kira didn't kill him.

"Seems like you can't kill me after all... So there are people that you can't kill. You've given me a useful hint. Let me tell you something in return." Kokona's eyes were glued to the screen, and she wondered what he could possibly tell Kira.

"I said that ths was a worldwide live broadcast, but it was actually only shown in the Kanto region of Japan. I was planning on showing this one at a time in other areas until I found you, but now that's unessasary. You, Kira, are in the Kanto area of japan."

L continued to explain how he figured out that Kira was in Japan, but Kokona was no longer listening. Her soul was filled with hate for the detective, because she knew that he was not only trying and already succeeding at finding and eventually killing Kira, but Kira had also been unable to kill him. She wanted desperately to help Kira in eliminating L, but she didn't know how.

But her mind began to form a plan.

Over the next few days, she thought more and more on this idea, and she contacted other Kira supporters as well. She designed a badge for her new group, wrote up a pledge of Kira, and even found an old warehouse that one of her new members owned but never used. She became A, leader of the Secret Agency to Locate L, otherwise known as SALL.

Now, weeks later, she was standing in the warehouse, proudly taking her place as A.

"Does anyone have any information on L that they have discovered on L since the last meeting?" Kokona questioned, silently hoping that someone would. Though they have had four meetings, they had gotten basically nowhere.
