The next meeting of SALL - which occurred the next day - was quite chaotic for everyone involved. While a number of the members were calm and extremely confident in their belief that Kira had planned this, and that because of that he was definitely still alive and safe, many were worried and scared to the point of tears. Some were yelling, others were crying, and the rest were trying to calm down everyone else.
Kokona was desperately trying to regain control of the meeting, as she had had to so many times before. C wasn't as worried as she had been last night, but many of the others were worse.
The usual hour and a half turned into two, then three... until one by one everyone went back to their homes with nothing resolved.
But Kira was alive, and he hadn't been arrested. When Kokona's phone rang once again with his unknown phone number, it was as though a dam had broken and waves of relief flooded through her mind. Her savior was still alive, he hadn't been caught and he hadn't died. He was safe.
"A, you were correct. I am Light." His voice spoke through the phone, no longer edited. Kokona's mind flashed back to when she had approached him and demanded to know if he was Kira. He explained that at that point, he had no memory of being Kira as he was trying to prove his innocence to L.
"It worked very well, and now, I have a plan to get rid of L for good." Light explained, and Kokona listened to his words intently. "But I want to meet with you in person - and also, I don't want your entire group to know my identity. That's too many people, and too much of a risk."
"I understand that, it makes sense." Kokona said softly, paranoid about not wanting anyone to overhear her conversation, even if she was alone in her apartment.
"We'll meet tomorrow, in the woods, near my house." Light said decidingly. Kokona nodded, despite being on the phone. Nodding when no one could see because they were on the phone was a common habit of hers, one that she didn't care to break.
"Alright." She agreed, smiling slightly to herself. Light hung up, and she tossed her phone onto the couch; followed by herself.
She shoved her face into the pillow and screamed, having a massive fangirl attack. Her god had just revealed his true identity to her. HER! Now, her biggest idol was trusting her, not SALL, but her, with knowing his identity and his plan to get rid of L. She could hardly believe it, it was as if every dream she ever recently had was finally, finally coming true.
She sat up straight, a huge smile on her face. Words couldn't describe how she felt at that moment. She felt important for the first time in her life; truly important. For years, she had tried to convince herself that she'd be important in the future, that one day she'd matter more. One day, she'd be more than the trouble maker student she had been for so long. She'd be known as more than just Mei Matsuda's best friend. She be more than just the girl people looked down at constantly. That day, was finally today. It felt amazing, and like nothing she had felt before.
"I'm gonna help god..." She breathed out in disbelief. "I'm going to help god..."

"Okay so let me get this straight," Kokona paced back and forth across the soft dirt of the ground of the forest, while he stood nearby her, leaning against a tree with a straight face. "You expect me to believe that a freaking magic notebook is killing people?" She put her hands on her hips and tilted her head, staring at Light suspiciously as she narrowed her eyes. "You're actually Kira, right? This isn't some prank where you're trying to pull on me. You know, convincing me you're Kira, making me believe that something as ridiculous as a bunch of magical pieces of paper are somehow killing thousands upon thousands of criminals?" Kokona scoffed, walking over to Light and gently shoving his arm, "That''s a terrible prank you know, extremely immature."
