It took several days, but Kokona soon started getting to work on her plan. She put much effort into it, but shortly after starting, she realized she was going to be able to shorten it greatly.

Sitting on the couch in Akari's main room, she stared at the TV across the room. It was on one of the many news channels, though she wasn't quite sure which one.

"One of the attackers was heavily armed," A reporter's voice came through the TV's speakers, while he stood in front of his camera. Kokona watched both him and the live video playing besides him carefully, wanting to know exactly what it was that was going on. The reporter continued, "As of this moment, both Miss Takada's escort team and the police are hot on the tail of the suspects."

"Takada got kidnapped?" Kokona turned around to see Akari entering the room, holding a bowl of some food Kokona had never seen before and probably didn't want to know what it was. She sat down next to Kokona, and began to watch the news along with her.

"Yeah, they don't know who it is though." Kokona explained, her eyes glued to the screen, "Weird, this seems so sudden..." She mumbled, not really understanding what this would accomplish. But then again, she didn't understand much about how the minds of anti-Kira people worked... The only thing they did consistently was stay illogical in their thought process.

She supposed that that actually did explain why Takada was being kidnapped then.

The camera view switched over, and suddenly they were describing a car chase that was currently going on. Both Akari and Kokona watched in silence, looking at every detail. They couldn't change what was happening from Akari's couch, but they still knew that they needed to pay attention. Since Takada was Kira's spokesperson, the outcome of this event would most certainly influence Kira's war. Even if they didn't have a choice of how this car chase and kidnapping turned out, they could possibly use it in the future to work in Kira's favor in some way... maybe.

And though Kokona wouldn't admit it, she was kind of hoping that whoever this kidnapper was would kill Takada. She still wasn't really over her previous visit, and would be completely okay with Kira getting a brand new spokesperson.

"Woah look!" Akari exclaimed, pointing at the TV. Kokona watched as the camera focused in as the car chase came to an end. The car skidded to a stop, as it had run into a blockade of police cars. Kokona's eyes widened and she gasped as she watched as a young man exited the car, and stood up.

"That's him," She breathed out, and Akari looked at her in confusion. She didn't remove her eyes from the screen. "That's him!! He's the one who killed C!"

"Him??" Akari exclaimed, staring wide eyed in shock at the screen as well now. "He killed her??"

"He was the one who took her, and he was the one who was driving when their car crashed." Kokona told her, "He -" She stopped talking, staring once again in silent shock. The sound of a gun had sounded, and many more had followed before the camera was quickly switched off of the screen. The previous reporter replaced the image, and immediately began explaining what was happening.

He had been shot. He was dead.

"Oh my god..." Akari whispered, "he's dead..."

Kokona didn't move from her seat, and continued watching the screen. Her face stayed in her wide eyed, shocked expression for a few moments, until a grin slowly spread across her face. Her smile grew bigger, and she grinned from ear to ear.

"He's dead," She whispered, quietly at first. She repeated it several times, her voice growing louder and more happy each time she said it. "He's dead, he's dead, he's actually dead..." She began to laugh; not simply because he was dead, but also out of relief. C was no longer dead because of him while he remained alive and healthy. The man who killed her met his death, and she felt as though C's death was slowly starting to finally be avenged. This just proved it more and more to her; defy Kira, and justice will  be served to you. But you most certainly won't enjoy it.
