Hope

I stared at the demon. What is up with her? Our world is doomed and it's all in our hands to save it. This sucks. "Nero." I say without glancing at him. "Yeah?"

"Do you think we could save everyone?" I asks softly. Maybe we won't. Maybe we will.

"Yeah. Of course." I nod and walk to my bag, pulling out my light pink sleeping bag. It was extra size because of my wings.

"That is a big bag." Nero comments. I giggle. "Yeah. My wings are too huge. The only sleeping position is on my stomach." He chuckles and tries to touch my wing. I flinch and pull back. He looked taken aback. "Sorry." I shake my head. "You never touch an angels wing. These are the most important thing for an angel. I could be vulnerable with someone touching them." He raised a brow and sat down next to me. "Why would you be vulnerable?" I sigh. "Our wings are apart of us but the thing is that these are connected to us body and soul. Rip the off and I'm half dead. The only way for me to get rid of them is by God or my Lords. I'm a lowly princess. So it counts for me too." He nods. "What happened if you get in deep trouble?" He asks. I look at Kytara. She doesn't realise that we are so alike. Angels and demons. But we are also opposites. "Death. No matter what you do. Its death. But if your like me, princess you fall." I shuttered at thinking of my mother. She died because of a stupid rivalry. I will always hate demons.

My mother was best friends with a demon for years. But when they banished her to see my mother, the demon retaliated. She killed my mum, claiming it was an 'accident'. "Wow. I thought demons were harsh but angels wow..." He stopped mid sentence when I realised I was crying. "Hey, Hope why are you crying?" I smiled and whipped my tears away. "Oh, nothing. Nothing's wrong." I dusted my clothes off. "Hope. Tell me. Was wrong?" I fiddle with my hands. "Its nothing." I whisper. "Oh my snowflake. Stop crying and tell me." I sniffle. "My mother." I mumble. "What about her?" I sob louder this time. "S-she had a f-friend, a demon a-and she killed my m-mum." His body tensed. I looked back at Kytara and I knew she was awake. I didn't bother saying anything. I lied down, covering the blanket's up to my face. "Good night." I murmur. "Night Hope." I cried quietly till I fell asleep.
