Hope

I was very, very proud with myself. The smile on my face will stay like this the whole night. I'm surpised it worked though. I did it numerous of times but playing with a demon is playing with fire. But you have to give it to me, I did pretty damn good. "Do you think shes mad?" Nero asks, looking down at me in my light pink ball dress. The material hugged my curves and flowed down to the floor. The outfit completed with a pair of matching white heels.

I giggled and looked at Nero under the rim of my wine glass, "Oh definitely." He shook his head and smiled a little. He's having fun. "Come I want you too meet some people." He raised his brows at me questionably. "Who?" He asks.

"You mean whom. Raphael and Urial are my closest cousins." I took his hands and walked to the end of the room where the tables are situated for the guests. I beamed when I found the two talking. "Oh you too gossips still not mingling?" I joked. The two blondes snapped their heads up and grinned at me. They stood and walked over to me. "Now cousin, look who's all smart." Urial teased and hugged me. I could feel Raphael's heated glance at Nero. I cleared my throat, "Nero this is my cousins Rapheal and Urial, guys this is Nero, the Key Keeper." I grinned at the nervousness on Nero's face. I giggled an nudged him in the side. "Oh ah yeah, hi I'm Nero." He shook hands with Raphael and kissed the back of Urials hand.

"So Hope, what are you doing all the way in Greece?" I frowned. "You know that's classified information Raph. I cant tell you. I have stricked orders." I looked away from their gaze, "Why not? I thought we tell each other everything." Urial snapped. I bit my lip. "Sorry. I can not. If I do, I'm sentenced. You know the rules." I felt a warm hand close over mine, "Hey, I need a refill. You want one?" I smile at Nero for the rescue. "Yeah," I turn to my cousins, "Ill see you back at home. Enjoy the party." Me and Nero walk away from the angry angels I call cousins.

Seriously though, they risk my own life to just know what I'm doing here. The thing is though, they seemed suspicious. The looks they were giving Nero and how pushy they were. Urial and Raph have never been pushy with me. Arg! Angels annoy me sometimes. "Thanks for the save." I say looking up at Nero. He shrugs and gives me a smile, "They seemed a bit weird." I nod in agreement.

"They did. Something must be happening up at home. Whatever it is, id rather stay here." I giggle causing Nero to laugh. "You Hope, are one strange girl." I raise a brow. "Seriously? Kytara is the strange one." I say walking out the doors of the room. I needed fresh air. I was giving hints. Nero smoothed his thumb across my hand in small circles, "Yeah but your not your average angel." The breathe was hitched in my throat when I was against the wall. The background noise from the party disapeared as i watched Nero. His deep blue eyes lingered on my lips. "...I guess..." I whispered.

I shouldn't but I should. I want this but it cannot be. Come closer. No dont...My thoughts were hazy as Neros lips connected to mine. They were soft. I closed my eyes and leaned forward, taking him as a yes. i couldnt think. My mind and thoughts were all over the place.

"Nero..." I pulled away when the familiar voice interrupts us. I mentally groan. Kytara runs away down the hall, to our room. "Kytara! Wait!" I push Nero away making him look at me, "Hope..." I shake my head, "Go to her." I mutter. His steps lingered while they were beating loudly in the direction of Kytara. I just ruined destiny. That was not suppose to happen at all. "Hope." I turn to see Cas standing down the hall with is hands in his pockets. "yeah." My voice still a whisper. "We need to talk."
