Siren's Song

Chapter 23

Serenity ~~~~

I couldn't take it anymore. The heartache. The pain. Why did I have to feel this way. How could humans live like this.

I ran through the corridors, the warm tears streaming down my face.

"Serenity!"

Sebastian ran after me, grabbing my hand. I had made it to the garden again but Sebastian was in better control of his human legs.

"I said no, Sebastian why can't you leave me alone?"

I sounded weak and hurt. I couldn't handle him seeing me like a broken girl. A true fish out of water.

"I don't believe you. I think you still love me and want to be with me. We could be together and happy. Our kingdoms could unite and we could be unstoppable. We could live forever and have children to rule and conquer after us." He held my face in his hands, forcing me to look into his ocean eyes "Let me in. Love me again like I know you want. Feel my energy and embrace my magic."

Our connection was much stronger than I remembered. Our bodies hummed in sync and our energy embraced the others.

Sebastian leaned in slowly allowing me if I wanted to, to not accept his kiss.

But I wanted it so badly. The day he healed me wasn't enough I needed more. I wanted more.

Our lips touched and it felt as if everything was in its place. As if I could finally breathe.

But was what I was feeling real?

Could I be with him?

Could we be happy and live a wonderful life?

In the back of my mind I thought of Patrick and how I wanted him as well.

So it's literally been a year since I've updated this story. I loved this story when I started it but I had no way to continue it. But guess what? I'm continuing it now and I'm going to try and complete it to the best of my abilities. So what I did was go through each chapter and revise and edit it. So some things are different than the original story. But from here on I'm going to finish this story and then all will be peachy.
